Reviews
No Complaints about Playing at Stevinson Ranch
Great course with challenging greens, great pace of play, staff extremely friendly and courteous upon check in. Practice facility was in pristine condition, nice quiet back drop in the Valley which sets the tone for a relaxing round. Not too far from East Bay, definitely worth it. Definitely will be back to play again. Thanks Stevinson Ranch!
BEST COURSE AROUND HERE
Had a wonderful day, bright sunshine, little wind, the fairways were just excellent, greens a little fast. All people there were very nice and kept the round going smoothly. Will go back again soon. Can't wait for the new Pro shop and restaurant.
great course if you like challenges
not a course for the beginner. great fairways and fast greens. rewards good shots and punishes you for wayward shots.
Fun n Challenging
Mid Morning Tee Time and was cool/breezy/cloudy, but found in great shape for mid January. Paired up with a couple of good golfers and had a good time.
A must play for anyone in or around the Central Valley
Practice facilities are excellent, full grass range with a good chipping/bunker green. Practice putting green is very true to course. Course conditions are top notch. Easy to walk and setup well for it. Food and Beverage suffers due to old clubhouse burning down. Enjoy hitting a lot of GIR due to size, but be ready for some 3 jacks.
Amazing Jewel of the Central Valley
When I moved to California I hadn't picked up the clubs in years. With a busy work schedule, golf was not a priority. It was that way until I was invited to Stevenson! All I can say is "WOW!!!" Not only is the staff friendly, driving range great, BUT the course was absolutely amazing!!!
If you want the challenge of a British Open style of golf course, with a few trees and water hazards along the way, this is the place to go! The rough is rough, the fairways are prestine, sandtraps deep, and the greens are fast/true!
Eventhough Stevinson sits in the middle of nowhere, the course is worth every mile!! I can not say enough good things about a place where my golf addiction is fed!! Thank you Stevinson for being ......amazing!
Great layout
This course is one of my favorites. The links layout is challenging yet rewards a good shot. Love 16,17,18 finishing holes.
