Seven Hills Golfers Club
About
Seven Hills Golfers Club in Spring Hill is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, a relatively secluded location that makes this course a hidden gem. Locals know that the course is one of the best golf values in the area. The links-style layout has appeal for players of any skill level. There are interesting risk-reward opportunities throughout and the fairways are wide and player friendly. The golf course has a few lengthy and narrow holes, which makes it play longer than what's indicated on the scorecard. The layout's par 3s are particularly challenging. In addition to some tricky doglegs, you'll encounter strategically placed bunkers guarding both the greensides and fairways. Your accuracy will be put to the test throughout Seven Hills Golfers Club but it's not overly punishing for the high handicapper.

NEW CARTS DO NOT MAKE UP FOR TERRIBLE CONDITIONS
We have played at Seven Hills many times. The time before last we were told to expect improvements. We were saddened upon our return - it was worse, not better. The carts were new, and a great upgrade with ball and club washers, and an iPhone charger. The wifi reception was improved, making the GPS of the course great! BUT this did not make up for the HORRIFIC conditions of the course. Last time it was in need of seed and greens upgrades. This time - IT WAS WORSE THAN A FORGOTTEN DILAPIDATED HOUSE!. Greens that were moldy, cracked and overgrown with crab grass clumps. Only the 18th green (the former 9th) had a smooth, green surface. Fairways were either desert sands, overgrown weed fields or semi-dried mud puddles. We did not play a single fairway with a definable rough that had less than 8 inches of grass or a fairway grass which was not riddled with oasis of sand spots and red ant hills. The worst part of all - tee boxes -were so sandy & dusty the tees sunk into the dirt as you drew back your club to make the drive! It was like teeing off from a sand trap on every hole! Had we not paid our greens fees through GolfNow I would have demanded a refund after my first 4 holes. The only two "improvements" we saw were the carts and the flipping of the front nine numbers to the back and vice versa. It was just deplorable. How sad the course has come to this. We were disappointed a year ago. Now we don't know if we will ever return again. It is definitely not worth the money paid.
Course is in very poor condition. Tee boxes, fairways, greens are all in equally bad condition.
Course conditions
This course is going to need another few months before it is ready for play. Probably only 4 greens that you could putt on.
Course needs to be shut down until it has tee boxes, fairways and greens. It's sad the condition of this course. It's supposedly being worked on but I didn't see one worker on any of the holes. It was sad to see this course in this condition. It really needs to be shut down until it is brought up to par no pun intended.
seven hills
worst golf course I have ever played. tee boxes were all sand, fairways all dirt and weeds, greens in horrible condition. I should demand a total refund. pooris to high of a rating
Very poor conditions
We played this course with a GolfNow hot deal and it wasn’t worth even that amount of money. There was no grass on the course tees or greens and you were lucky to find a weed to put your ball on in the fairway. The course had recently been aerated but not exactly sure why. They could’ve used the money in fertilizer and grass seed instead. On one green the pin wasn’t even on the green and the temporary green location wasn’t in any better shape than the green it was moved from. This course should be closed until they make it playable. We had to use a 2 putt maximum rule just so we didn’t get even more angry trying to play it.
Nice tract. Tough condition
Have played this course many times over the past year. Love the layout but the conditions are improving very slowly. This course isn't getting much play because of the condition l. Howeve it give you a great opportunity to practice. Help the owner and yourself by playing here
why? let this track turn to a desert
The new owner may or may not have tried to get the course back There is no doubt the previous owners ruined this course. Now I think the new owners have given up and are holding this property for tax advantages of losing money. The root system is gone no amount of water and chemicals can bring this back We the people who live here have lost our course for 6 years now. It needs to be redone. I am writing the Civic Association and seeing what we can do. Our investments in our homes and community are being hurt, The quality of life and the pure waste of a quality golf tack is just not fair. I wish and hope the new owners love the course and will invest and be rewarded. This is just a dire situation that must be resolved or another owner must be brought in. There is lots of support on my block to raise some funds to bring back our golf course...BTW you can get prime rib and a beer anywhere we need our course back
don't play here
course conditions have rapidly deteriorated in last month. fairways aren't much more than dirt
Getting Worse
I'm surprised how worse the course got in several weeks. Out of 18 holes maybe three fairways had green grass on them. Most of the greens had little to no grass on them. This course needs to be watered every day to try to bring it back to a decent condition.
Going down hill
For a while it appeared like the new owners were going to turn this course around but now most of the fairways and tee boxes are dead grass and brown. The weeds they seemed to have somewhat under control have returned in force. Sand traps either have gras growing in them or they are hard packed. The value for any amount of money just isn’t there anymore
no promised course improvements
I'm a snow bird- all summer of 2018 read about the GREAT changes to 7 hills - NOTHING CHANGED except Kitchen. a Prime Rib night !
12 years we have been playing here - The last few years less times. Course seems to lack concern over conditions. 1915,1916 decent greens - today they are just about shot. don't let the green by the club house fool you., this the only one on the course in this condition.. To get heavy play which translates into income you have to have decent conditions..well we will check it out in 2020 and see what changes have been made. Hoping for some owner concern- don't want to see another Spring hill golf course demise.
Seven Hills
The coarse is under new ownership and they are definitely trying to bring the coarse back. I played over the summer and it was so bad I left part way through the round. Today it was playable , though still needing a lot of work. Tee boxes were poor condition, the fairways were a mixture of decent grass to no grass, the greens though still needing work were mostly playable. They have made huge strides since this summer but still have a long way to go. I wish them luck as this is a very nice layout and a coarse I always loved playing in the past.
$ 18.00 course
Course improving need more grass in fairways. Greens better, but still an $ 18.00 course
.
ROUGH
I hate to be negative in reviews, But!!! BAD!!
Fairways are trash, greens just a few.
Great layout! Keep hearing stories of improvement. NOT!!!
Hope someday this course gets the attention it needs.
It will be awhile before I give it another shot.
SHAME!!!
We appreciate you taking the time to leave us a review. We are sorry you didn't have a positive experience with us. We will make sure this gets passed to the appropriate teams so we can improve moving forward.
