Good Course
Played here for the first time. The course was good. The conditions were good although a few areas were spotty. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The pace of play was great. Had a drink and split a sandwich after golf. Food was good but limited. We were staying in Port Saint Lucie and drove to Stuart. We would probably not play here again as we found the navigation to get there too confusing. I would recommend it to anyone staying in this area and for those who know their way in and around Stuart.
Slow greens
Gold/blue course. Not often is the grass thicker on the green than the fairways but this course managed to do it. Greens asr super slow!!! If you like to “wack your putter” this course is for you. Not a long course only about 6200 from the tips But definitely fun and interesting holes. Good value..
Staff was friendly and accommodating. We played the Blue/Gold. Course was okay, greens were very slow. Pace of play was ridiculous. We waited on every shot. No Ranger to speed up play. Ruined our day on what was a decent course.
Jim Mc
For the price we got through GN it was definitely worth it. The County has not done much with the course in the last 5 years. All they seem to do is talk and not do anything to improve it,. No clubhouse, outdoor toilets are some of the things that need to be addressed. Greens need to be cut more regular and rolled. It used to be a great course that was very difficult to get avtee time. Hopefully the County will wake up, do something to draw the people back.
Nice play
Only issue i had was cart path directions. Their were several junctures where it was not completely clear which way to continue. Otherwise great course to play.
Fun Course
Staff was great, friendly and helpful. Course was in good shape. Greens were very fair and not very fast. Pace of play was excellent, 18 in just under 3 hours. Great deal for the $$$
cut the greens
Love playing the Blue/Gold. Like you are transported back into the nether regions of Florida golf oldstyle. Not sure if it is the season or what, but my only complaint is the greens. Really got to bang that putt. Touch is not going to work. You have to BANG it.
I enjoy playing this course. It would be great if the cart paths were repaired/replaced because they are in very poor condition in several places.
