They called me!
This course actually called me 45 minutes ahead of my tee time to tell me that I couldn’t play this morning because we got a small amount of snow and there was snow on the greens! Thank you for caring about someone else’s time enough to reach out…I was still able to play elsewhere because they called so early! Thanks County Lakes…your customer service is one of the main reasons I continue to golf here…now hopefully I get my refund from golf now…
Fun course
Pace of play was great, Greens were in good shape for this time of year. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

Needs improvement
The course fees have risen since they started renovations. Would expect the course to be in good playing condition but tee boxes, fairways and greens could use some work. Other courses in the area with lesser fees are in much better condition. On the day we played there were five groups in front of us teeing off on hole one. Needless to say spent 18 holes of hitting and having to wait to hit next ball. At some points waiting 5 to 7 minutes per shot. Took well over 4 hours to play even though we played best ball. Never able to get into any kind of rhythm. Definitely needed a marshall to get groups moving or starting some on 10th hole.

Not the best year for Country Lake
The course has gone down hill this year.
The tee boxes were horrible and thr pave of play was bad.
This used to be a decent course. Spend the same money and play a nicer course or spend less and play a nicer course down the road.

Pace of Play
Really enjoy the course, however the last two times playing it took 5 hours because of slow play. Just feel like 5 hours is to long for 18 holes. Other than that the course is good.

Beautiful course, well-maintained and the staff was beyond accommodating and great to deal with.
Some of the reviews 👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽 talk about course conditions not being up to their liking. It must be tough going from Augusta to Country Lake. For the rest of us who love golf and are looking for a solid course to play at a price point worthy of our game…. You’ll find none better.

So Much Potential - Great People
The staff is excellent, pleasant and helpful
The greens have an excessive amount of crabgrass growth. It makes it difficult to find a clear path to putt.
Greens and Collar mowing need attention.
The fringe and collars also have been overtaken with crabgrass
Tee Boxes need attention
Fairways are fine
Bunkers have improved immensely
#18 is a great finishing hole
There are some significant differences playing from the White and Blue Tees on select holes
With attention put back into the grooming around the greens,, the ratings for this course would jump. It has the potential to be a solid public course.

Warren County County Lakes
Beautiful course with some rolling hills and very nice lay out. Would most definitely recommend this course to someone and will more definitely be playing here again.

Enjoyed my round
Solid course for the price. No complaints as my friend and I were able to get in a good 3.5 hour weekday round.

Great Course, Poor Planning
Would've been the perfect day for golf, but they had a tournament scheduled in the morning and still booked times for the morning for the public. By the time we made the turn to start the front 9, there was a giant back up of groups making a hole take 35 to 40 minutes of play. Had to leave early.

Why so slow
Have played here a lot over the years, but the last two times were brutally slow. We were a twosome, with a twosome ahead of us, and a twosome ahead of them. The twosome a couple of groups ahead were playing two balls each & scramble with each - they slowed up the whole works - any marshalls out there? Nope

T to green in excellent condition, as good as i have ever seen it
A shorter course with sneaky breaks on the greens and challenging par
3’s and its finishing hole #18 a beautiful par 5 that requires 3 good shots for a chance at a birdie putt, bogies being more common.
