Great Place to Play
This was a great course. The conditions started out perfect but slowly became windy. When I say windy I mean like hurricane gusts of wind. The wind was so bad on a par 3 from the gold tees at 165 yards. A member of my party used a 3w to put it pin high. The layout of the course was awesome. The pace of play was perfect. I will definitely be coming back to this course and telling all of my friends.
Worth the trip!
I was visiting Georgetown and decided to play a few days before. Golf now was easy to use and the course was great. My son in law and I got a 8 o'clock tee time which was unexpected. We found out it was a shotgun start which makes a lot of sense. I will suggest other places I play do the same. I will return. The course marshal and pro shop personnel were fantastic.

greens are in great shape as are the fairways and bunkers. Could keep the fairways a little longer rather than cutting too short. Overall a great place to play and well worth the dollars

Enjoyed playing Cowan Creek. The course was in great condition. The greens were true and fast.

Rolling hills/ Fun course
Had a great time as the greens and course were in very good condition. Larry in the pro shop was helpful also with purchasing a shirt. Would gladly visit Cowan Creek again!

Great course. Nice shape through the last two months of heat!
Fun
It was a challenging course where your found yourself between clubs about 80% of the time. However I loved he challenge. Id say 13/18 holes you have he option to cut corners or play it safe and though 13/18 i cut the corner and gave myself good position. I eagle''d 2/3 par 5's only cause my drive and 3 wood were striking good. I loved the view of the course so beautiful at every angle. I will be returning in the future

Hot weather afternoon. Glad it only took 2 1/2 hrs for 18. Course conditions were below their norm, probably due to hot and dry summer.

Spectacular
This course was worth every extra mile driving to there in Georgetown. Beautiful layout, staff was friendly, start at 3pm and was done 6:50pm. Definitely going back.
Fun Golf
Cowan Creek has wide fairways. This permits speedy play as most golfers should not have to worry about hitting balls in the rough. The greens are about average for a public course at this time. The greens had been recently sanded and verticut. The layout is not overly demanding. There is no beverage cart for refreshments, so bring your own. There is also no beverages or food available at the clubhouse. Regular green fees are a little high for this course. Special online deals are more in line with what the course should have.
