warned about aerifacation
Appreciate that we were warned that the greens had been aerified however the course is very average the bunkers were not maintain there were no brakes on the cart or in the bunkers andthe personnel now were less than friendly
Nice course good shape
Cypress course had lots of water. Challenge course was tight in spots. Fairways were nice. Greens were a little slow but rolled well. Back tees were only 6,000 yards but provided a nice challenge.
Challenge nine has very good layout
Challenge 9 had some very solid holes and felt less like a Florida "condo" course than the Cypress 9. Overall, I was very disappointed with the condition of the course. The greens were in good shape but slow and slower. Tee to green lacked the conditioning that is expected
Bit disappointed
Course was not in the condition I was expecting, for a course that just recently opened to the public. I hope they use the new funds to do some upkeep to the greens and course.
Really enjoyed the course
Played the Sands and Cypress. This was the first time playing this course and I WILL be back. Course was a bit challenging due to some well placed trees :-) . Lots of water did I mention LOTS of water. Glad to see this course went public. The only complaint I have is the carts were not charged properly. We were the first to tee off in the morning and our cart almost didn't make it the full 18. We also noticed some guys pushing there cart because there battery died. Not cool. They just went public this year so I will give them some slack on this one :-). Not sure if the guys who had to push there cart would feel the same.....LOL
Won't play again
Very run down and outdated facilities. Course was in very rough shape. This is a retirement village course and allowed people to jump around causing slow play. Course was new to GN and didn't disclaim additional charges on website prior to arrival. Not a good surprise to pay moe than GN confirmed.
Worth $30 but you can see they are improving!!
First few holes were not in great condition. Once I got to #4 on the Sands the course conditions were better. Overall for $29 with a cart there is much to complain about. I would play again but some of the others in the area are in better condition overall.

First time I played the course because they finally opened it up to outsiders. Greens are excellent and pins can be in some difficult places. If you played with someone who knows the course you can better position your shots because some fairways roll toward water or out of bounds. I will now try to play this course once a week for the value.
This course is in great shape with well designed fairways and greens.
My partner and I played cypress and challenge courses. Both courses had large greens that are in excellent condition. The greens were sloped so your shot placement was critical. Getting to the greens on several holes required accurate shot placement due to water hazards bunkers and fairway dog legs. Club selection came into play off the tee box on some holes, due to hazards you had to clear followed by another hazard that you might not clear. Select a rescue club rather than driver. Putting on the greens was great. Good speed and very well maintained. If you read the breaks properly you chances were good to sink a putt or 2 putt.
I will be back on the course soon. Had a great time,
Below Club Link Standards
Played Challenge/Sands. Did not enjoy Challenge, especially holes2/3. Conditions just OK but definitely not up to Club Link standards. Course is not licensed to sell booze but you can bring your own...for the sparse Club House only.
Value
We paid $29 plus tax and fee. I'd like to see Falcon Watch more competitive price wise. We were the only players on the course which means there is a huge opportunity for Club Links to offer more tee times on Golf Now and pricing in the $25 range. Overall we were pleased.
Worth a try...
Three nines...played Challenge / Sands....interesting and enjoyable . Being a private facility, I was disappointed in the inconsistent condition of greens, and overall course conditioning. Worth a try if your in the Sun City area.
Falcon Watch
First time playing 2 of the nines.
Courses had interesting layouts, but greens were slow and bumpy.
Certainly not worth the price.
Look elsewhere.
