Great course, greens need TLC
I love the course, played yesterday. My only issue is with the greens. Way too many unfixed ball marks, plus the greens were very bumpy. Seems like they were not cut recently and there were small patches of grass growing higher than other areas.
Nice round with my son
Loved this course. Obviously shorter holes but nice layout. Friendly staff. A snack bar or beverage cart would be a nice addition.
Excellent facilities
I played the par 33 Academy Course and really enjoyed the layout and landscape.
I came away with great impressions and the plan to return to play the 27 hole setup on the rest of the property.
Top quality 👌
I only played the par 32 academy course, but I could tell this place is a jewel.
Aerated greens meant it wasn't a low scoring affair, but I look forward to exploring the entire property eventually.
Great course- bring your own water.
I’ve played this course roughly 3 times now, overall great experience. The course is in excellent shape and is a great course to work on irons. That said I did feel rather rushed getting out on the first tee by the staff most recently despite being 30 minutes early to my tee time, however overall that is the only time I’ve had any type of problem with the staff. The other thing to consider is to bring your own water. If you want to buy a water you have to drive up to the bigger course and get it there. Save yourself the hastle and bring water.
Ugh....
Conditions were okay-big issue was ball marks on the 7 greens we played, why 7, because it took 2.5 hours to play 7 holes!!! Its a short course which was what I wanted for practice, but the pace of play was horrible....may give it a go once school starts and there are less people playing....for a point of reference I played at 10:50 on a Friday of a holiday weekend, was $25 excluding the GN booking fees.
Great Day
Had a great day at the Academy course. Excellent facility to introduce my grandson to his first round of real golf after several lessons at the driving range. The course is 9 holes which proved to be the right amount of golf. Would recommend this facility to everyone wanting to play with a new golfer.
Great quick round
Excellent layout for a quick 9. Played with 2 friends, none of us are making the Tour anytime soon, but we played well enough that even walking we wrapped the round in about 1h 35m. 6pm tee time when the weather was great. Only issue was that the stop cart rentals with the 530pm tee times. Understandable given the maintenance hours, just wish I had seen that earlier.
