The Chimneys Golf Course
About
The Chimneys Golf Course features 18 holes of exceptional golf. Our signature feature is the abundance of native rock found on-site, intricately hand-laid throughout the course to accent our greens, fairways, and pedestal tees. With strict attention to detail and no homes in sight, the course plays as a par 72, just shy of 6500 yards over five sets of tees to accommodate golfers of all abilities. Combined with southern, hometown charm, The Chimneys is an experience unlike any public course in north Georgia.

Switch Aroney
This is Fun and Enjoyable Course for a level player.
It is even better now that they have switched the starting hole.
Great course
This is becoming one of my favorite courses in the area. Not too difficult and the pace of play is usually good.
Surprising!
I played this course approximately two years ago and was pleasantly surprised. I believe it is owned by the county, but is much like a resort course. Greens are super and of course, the Bermuda is dormant now, . but super great course!
great course/challenging greens
Not particularly long, but the very slick greens were tough! Course is in great shape for the winter. Secluded feel with no houses visible.
Great shape
All was good. They have switched the front and back. I am not a big fan of the front 9. Too many short par ‘4’s and only one 3 and one 5. The back is great and the course is in great shape!
One of my favorites
ALWAyS enjoy playing & always in good shape. Price to play is more than we like to pay & pace of play slow, had to wait a lot. Marshall(s) on course would help make more enjoyable. We took advantage of a gift card to make price for us acceptable
Birthday Golf
Had a great time for my B-day. Course was great, weather was also great. The only problem that we had with the course was lack of restrooms. We had 2 women with us. Nuff said.
nice local course
I have had a number of people recommend this course to me and I see why. It was a really nice course. The fairways were really nice considering the lack of rain. The greens were sticky making it ideal to place wedge shots close.
The staff was really friendly and helpful.
John went out of his way to check in and make sure I had everything I needed.
Love the course but
My son and I played this course for the first time earlier in the summer and enjoy the layout. A few tough holes but for the most part very nice for the average golfer. My only complaint, and not so much against the course (thus the good instead of an excellent rating), is that people are not repairing their ball marks. This can make putting very difficult and there were a lot of them that needed repairing. One green I had a ball kick right and another bounced up. It's hard to get a putt that you're not hitting over a old ball mark that hadn't been repaired. Maybe signs around the green to repair the ball marks (your's and another if you see one). The rest of the course is in great shape and the greens would be if people would repair their ball mark. Layout is very enjoyable also.
Excellent
Course was on excellent shape considering we've had no rain in 5 weeks.
Some good fluffy lies.
