Golf Paradise in August Area!

My experience at Champions retreat was PERFECTION! Without question one of the best golf experiences of my life. You arrive into the amazing community and drive up to the bag drop where you are met by caddies and staff to get you set up. I was introduced to my caddy for the round and then headed inside the gorgeous southern clubhouse. Wonderful people inside here as well as the grille room. I headed out to the range accompanied by my caddy so he could get an idea of how I hit the ball. After sufficient warm up time, we headed off to the first tee of the Palmer nine (played Palmer/Player). What an incredible course - every inch of the property was beautifully maintained. I wanted to take a picture on every hole! Every step of the way the caddy was there to provide helpful information, but not in an overbearing way (exactly suited for my style). Getting the opportunity to play at Champions Retreat is the chance of a lifetime! Thank you so much!

Loved!

I had an excellent time on the Creek nine at Champions Retreat! I would say that out of all three nine hole courses on property, The Creek course was probably the easiest, but that does not take away from the excellent conditions, the friendly staff, and how much fun my group had!

An Augusta worthy experience

I got to play this course three times in one weekend and I never got bored. Best of all, I thought every hole was memorable and unique, the greens were perfect and you hardly saw another group. Pretty much a perfect experience. Loved the elevated tees and doglegs and the sixth hole is one of the best short par 4s you'll ever play. If you have a chance to play any of the courses at Champions Retreat, jump on it. The only nearby experience that might be better is on Magnolia Lane.

A great setup

These 9 holes are quite different than the other two nine holes. Players navigate through the lower areas of the course with creeks often in play. Local knowledge is most helpful.

On the second par 3, don't even look at the green. Aim right of the hole and thank me later.

Awesome Course

We loved Champions Retreat and can't wait to go back! Each of the 3 nines has it's own character and challenges. The course was in immaculate condition, and has beautiful views! The staff was probably the most friendly and welcoming golf staff I have ever encountered- the head pro, golf shop staff, restaurant employees, the membership and lodging folks- all first rate! If you can stay the night, the cottages are amazing as well!!

Great Courses, Better People, Outstanding Experience

This is a truly unique property, and after visiting you'll wonder why there aren't more like it. We only stayed for two rounds and one night, but it was a fantastic destination for a guys golf trip. Top-notch service and immaculate, luxurious, and super-convenient lodging. Riding the golf cart between the cottage, the clubhouse, and the pub is perfection. Thanks guys!

The only course better in the area would be The Augusta National.

3 nines, designed by Gary Player, Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer. Not much more needs to be said after that. Each one has it's own distinctive Features and will challenge even the best of golfers. Although with 4 different teeing grounds, moving up makes the course rather enjoyable. So challenge your game today and go and play the Retreat, an experience you will never forget.
