The Hooch Golf Club sits along the Chattahoochee River in Duluth, sprawling across a scenic landscape covered with ponds and lakes. The course is an executive, par-61 layout that combines traditional features with modern challenges. Although there aren't any par 5s on the golf course there are a few holes that stretch to over 400 yards, which guarantees that you'll be using all the clubs in your bag. There is plenty of water throughout the golf course, including three holes that play right along the river. It might not be what you're looking for if you want something truly formidable, but for a short course it's a good challenge that provides excellent iron practice. Besides the golf course, The Hooch is also known for its 12-acre, lighted driving range. There are also putting and chipping greens with a deep-faced practice bunker.

Nice little par-3 and par-4 course - very relaxing.
This was my first time playing the course. There are 11 par-3 holes and seven relatively short par-4 holes. This made for a very relaxing round. Most of the par-4 holes were around 300 yards long. The course isn't too hilly for the area, and the fairways and greens were in decent shape. On this day, the greens were extremely slow, and the ground was hard-packed. Once I adjusted to the slowness of the greens, I had a good round. Drinks were fairly cheap - a bottle of Coke was $2. They did not have a drink cart driving around on the course nor did they have a cooler on the cart. Stock up before you head out.
Ok course, terrible clubhouse, awful waits
I’d never do this again. Pricing for much better easily available.
love the Hooch!
18 hole Executive course with a nice layout that allows you to use all the clubs in your bag. Love the fact that I can be in and out in less than 2 1/2 hours. Pace play on the day I played was really good, even though the course is relatively full. The driving range has an area to practice your short game. Two thumbs up!
Paid $30 which may be a little on the expensive side for an executive course. Overall pace of play was great considering it was a beautiful Saturday and the place was packed. Rarely had to wait in between shot. Overall good time
No issues
Will play again, probably this week. Good place to swing a club and pitch and putt.
2 hours 18 holes...
Nice Round
I have played this course multiple times and it has always been a pleasant experience. It is a great course when a 3 hour round is desired and has some interesting holes, 3's and 4's, along the track. Nice driving range, putting green and chipping area. Staff is always welcoming and helpful.
Good Round
Saturday was good day for Golf. Always good to play at the Hooch. Course was a little muddy in spots, but it is to be expected I guess with all the Rain we have had. Greens coming in Nicely. Certainly worth it.
Frozen start
Delayed start due to the weather - Chilled out in the clubhouse, they put in a
Bar tap (for future reference), got
On the course, well maintained given the weather ; always a good course to work in your iron play off the tee and approach shots
One after another groups singles doubles every 10 minutes we’re going out. Made the pace of play really slow, took 4 hours for 18 hours
Good
Only thing to complain was the pace of play due to how crowded it was for a holiday weekend. Play here a lot never had to wait as much .
Good executive course
For the money, it cannot be beat! Greens were true...little slow but well manicured. Tee boxes good. Fairways good. Perfect course for our 11 year old grandson just learning. The tee boxes vary greatly in length which assists people of all skills. Driving range was big as well as chipping area. Great place to learn the game. I am a fan!
