Short Course that gets a lot of play
I’ve played this course many times. The owner and staff are reasonable and continue to invest in upgrades. But the course is built on top of a former landfill, that produces its own challenges.
The greens do not putt true, and in my opinion, have worsened over the years. Don’t expect to sink many of your eight foot putts. Lagging within 30” will serve you well on this course.
Also, some of the tee boxes are in horrendous condition (how does one hit a driver off of a mat?). But you expect this from a course with $40 green fees.
Nevertheless, the layout is interesting for a short course (Par 61).
Not Worth the Price
If this course charged $25-35 it would have received a higher review. It was $50 after fees. They send groups off every 10 minutes which is way too close. The marshal was very unfriendly. The range is better than the course.
great course
staff was awesome place is great for quick round driving range is super nice as well even got good putting areas
Disappointing
The condition of the beginning of the course is quite nice. Absolutely bizarre layout however, but that made it kind of fun. The further you go into your play, the conditions get worse and worse. Eventually the tee boxes are mats or mud.
Might be better during the summer.
Nice executive course
Looks like owner is continuing to improve course.Love the launch monitoring at driving range. Our round slowed due to CPO on 3 holes.
2 seniors in our group
Hopefully we’ll see a few more tee boxes and greens recover and improve.
Prefer Sr rate @$40/ player don’t mind paying $50 as continuing improvements occur
Too many people
Basically 3 groups on each hole was backed up all day, greens were covered in weeks, all bunkers were like waste basins. Awful course don’t go
Really fun gem
I started golfing a little over a year ago and played this course with a friend. We booked this course again a few weeks ago and had an entirely new appreciation for it now that we are better players. Not often that you can play an 18 hole course that focuses on par-3 play. Still very challenging. Will come back again soon. The driving range is excellent with the toptracer technology!!
Possibly the worst course I've ever played
Played Monday around 9am. Driving range is closed until until 10am on Mondays for "maintenance". No notice on their Golf Now page. I fault the course and Golf Now for that.
The course itself is awful. Completely surrounded by power lines, in play on many holes. No hole diagrams anywhere, including the score cards. Virtually no distance markers. No GPS. Almost no brakes on the cart (literally barely stopped with foot to the floor), which made the steep paths dangerous.
The tee boxes are overlapping, making it very difficult to determine which ones to hit from. Since the flags/greens aren't visible from some.of the tee boxes, it's possible to hit down the wrong fairway.
In summary, it makes sense why it was the only course available within 25 miles that morning.
Not worth it
There are far better courses for what they charge, and cheaper. This place is poorly managed (pace of play was horrendous) and poorly maintained. They pretty much cut the grass, that’s it. Charging over 40 bucks a round here is ridiculous.
