Bear Trail Golf Club

I always enjoy this course. Drive 25 min. to get here, but well worth it. Course conditions are good,and beer and food is inexpensive. 4 hour round despite slow front nine.

Fun course to play. Large, well manicured greens were in excellent shape. The course is wide open and very long. This course will become one of my favorites along the Crystal Coast

The only think I didn't like about it was the mosquitoes that seems to be everywhere. Bring some repellent when you play here!

A hidden gem ,drove from Morehead City about one and half hr drive but well worth the time

First time playing Bear Trail and it was a pleasure. Great course and in great shape. The greens roll nicely and are receptive. Fairways are fairly open. Will definitely try to play here again when I pass through the area.

Even though it's 2 hours from Raleigh, we won't hesitate to book another tee time. Course is very plush and well maintained!

This is a great course for the area. It is one of the better courses and the value was awesome. Don't go on a Tuesday or Thursday, it is Senior Day... The course was packed. The front nine is different from the back nine. I think it was the placement of the pins.... up front and just behind the bunkers. Enjoy yourselves because I did and I will be back.

I was on vacation and looking for a place to golf. Someone recommended this place to me and said it was pretty nice. They were wrong. It was incredible. Course was in great condition, very little wait time on the course. I was playing solo and didn't get stuck behind a group until a few holes in. The staff was also super friendly. The starter took a few minutes to give me a run down of the course before I started. I would absolutely recommend this course to anyone in the area. At $25 it was the best value I've ever had while golfing.

Recently moved to Jacksonville, and this course is by far the nicest course in the Jacksonville area. I've played Rock Creek, Jacksonville CC, and Belvedere, and none of those courses come close to Bear Trail. I always search for the Hot Deals on GolfNow, and usually play 18 holes for the price of 9.

Played mid week. Was not crowded, and nice open course for my spray and pray style of golf

Came down to the area for the first time with my girlfriend and her family. So I decided to bring my golf clubs down as well to play at least once. I'm glad I did because this course was in excellent shape and I played it by myself in about 3 hours. Everyone was very polite in letting me through. Greens were perfect. When I come back down next year I will definatley play this course again.

Fun course, good condition. Nice greens. Would play again. A bit out of the way.

Very good course with great layout. Open fairways lull you into false sense of comfort until you get within 100 yes of the green. Undulating greens require an accurate approach and ball position. The staff is by far the friendliest in the area. Lack of on course ranger slowed play down somewhat. I love this golf course!

What a great layout! Challenging, manicured and we'll maintained. I very much enjoy playing here and the prices areally competitive with the other local courses but the "hot deals" on Golf Now can'take be beat. Thanks Bear Trail.

Nice layout. Fair play for a 21 handicapper. Will return to play again.

My first time at this course, and it was in good shape for being so early in the season. The grass was still brown, but I don't think that it had much effect on my game. I'd like to come back and play when everything is green.

too bad the course was so wet, cart path only. Lots of walking. good greens for thiss time of year. definitely worth the price.

For winter the course is in good condition. I"ll go back.
