Cutter Creek Golf Club

What a great golfing experience. Played the course twice now and both times felt like I had the course to myself. Challenging layout with well placed bunkers and hazards that come into play. Conditions were good the 1st time I played and excellent the second time around. Highly recommend making the drive from Triangle Area to take advantage of such a great deal.

Only complaint would be the golf shop staff. Not very accommodating. Not sure if they are bored considering how few people are at the course but seemed somewhat inadequate in the customer service department.

I live in Raleigh drove one hour and a half to play this course and it was worth every minute of the drive. The Bermuda greens were fast, with some undulation.
Very well cut fringes and rough. I like playing a course that has rough that does penalize you fairly, for hitting a bad shot. T boxes and fairways were very nice and impressed with the overall condition of the course not many mature trees yet but the few that were there if you were off the fairway did come into play.

wish it was closer to Raleigh. be there all the time. course in great shape. fairways firm and fast. greens still had a very light coat of sand but were true and fast. out in the middle of nowhere, but make the trip. you will be glad you did.

I play Cutter 2 or 3 times a month with my brother inlaw and it is always great day of golf. The course as always was great condition and the staff are very helpful.

Out of the way but SO worth the drive. The course was beautiful and played great even after brutal rain the night before. I'm not a advanced golfer so it was a bit long for me but I've never enjoyed being short so much. Make the drive, you'll be glad you did, no doubt. Amazing challenge, can't wait to play again.

Great course. Greens had been variegated recently but it didn't affect putts. Greens were excellent. It had rained the night before and the bunkers needed raked. The worker was raking them but didn't get to all of them. Had a couple sand shots in in raked bunkers. Oh well play it down. Possibly two of the toughest finishing holes I've played. Enjoyed it very much. Drove 2 hrs to play. Replay rate was very readonable

I have played this course for years and this is the worst I have ever seen the greens. Also, the bunkers need to be raked and sand pushed around to even them out in a lot of spots. Love the layout and overall this course is a blast to play, but right now it is NOT is overall excellent shape like normal.

GOLFNOW DIDN'T MENTION GREENS WERE BEING AERIFIED WHEN I BOOKED ONLINE OR THE COURSE DIDN'T NOTIFY GOLFNOW THAT THE GREENS WERE BEING AERIFIED. WHO KNOWS. WHEN I CHECKED IN THE PRO SHOP PERSON WAS AWESOME. GAVE ME A FREE LARGE BUCKET OF BALLS AND EVEN DROVE OUT TO THE RANGE TO LET MY GROUP KNOW TO GO AHEAD AND PLAY THE HOLES AHEAD OF ALL THE MAINTENANCE CREWS THAT WAS WORKING TO AERIFY GREENS. WE HAD A GREAT TIME AND THE COURSE WAS AWESOME. WILL RETURN. WORTH THE 95 MILE DRIVE !!

IT WAS A LONG DRIVE FROM RALEIGH AND THERE WAS ROAD DETOURS ALONG THE ROUTE WHICH MADE THE TRIP EVEN LONGER. THEN I FIND OUT UPON ARRIVAL THAT I CAN ONLY PLAY THE FRONT 9 TWICE BECAUSE OF AIRIFICATION OF THE GREENS. I BELIEVE THE COURSE DIDN'T INFORM GOLFNOW AND WHEN I CAME HOME THERE WAS STILL NOTHING MENTIONED ON THE GOLFNOW SITE SO I BELIEVE THE COURSE ISN'T KEEPING GOLFNOW INFORMED. THE GUY IN THE PRO SHOP STILL CHARGED ME 6 BUCKS FOR BALLS AND HE SAW I WAS KIND OF UPSET. HE SAID HE DID CONTACT GOLFNOW AND IT WAS THERE FAULT. WHO KNOWS? JUST A THANKS FOR COMING ALL THE WAY FROM RALEIGH AND DON'T WORRY ABOUT SACK OF BALLS. BUT ANYWAY......GREAT COURSE, I WILL RETURN, VERY NICE LAYOUT, IT WAS WORTH THE DRIVE. MINOR CUSTOMER SERVICE TWEEKS WOULD BE RECOMMENDED.

This course was a beast and that's the way I like them to be! The recent rain made for no roll in fairways which lengthened play...

Course was in great shape with the Golf Now deal I feel like it is a steal to play there for the price.

Beautiful course with a great layout. A few holes allowed you to bite off as much as you wanted to chew (risk and reward). It appeared the greens had recently been fertilized but they were still in good condition. Several fairway and greenside bunkers. The location is almost two hours from me but I will certainly play there again...

Love this course! It is in great shape and it is always a challenge; especially when the greens are as fast as they are right now!

Very nice course. only problem i seen was some greens were a little splotchy and distance markings could be better. overall very nice will be back.

Course was beautiful and great layout. Greens were amazing and loved every hole and the fact that you had to think about your next shot rather than just grip it and rip it. Bunkers were in bad conditions but I am sure it was because of the rain. Staff was friendly and pace of play was great. I am considering going there more often. Great price on golfnow.com. only reason why I went. FYI bring a beach towel. Bunkers are placed strategically which means you might be at the beach all day.

Nicely maintained course with some challenging holes. The layout is relatively open, so not much chance of losing your ball in the woods, but there are many sandtraps and water on several holes. I played from the middle tees and expect the longer tees would have added more difficulty with the extra length. Greens were relatively fast but fair. A nice course and good value if you get a discount.

Be sure to play the appropriate tees. A great course but too far from my home.

This course is in great shape. Greens quick and undulating. Plays 6881 from one-up tees. Good test. There have been some mini tour events here in its short history. Worth the drive.

Played the course after a tournament. Greens rolled with no bumps. Maybe a 9 or 10. Fairways just growing in. Good shape. Links style . Grasses off fairway not grown in yet, making course fairly easy. Didn't eat there, but staff friendly.
