Do Not Play
DO NOT PLAY Here because:
The Whole course is poorly maintained. We were told that the water pump was broken for the last 3 week, well fix/repair/replace or do something about it..
1. Fairway: 30% bear land, 25% Weeds 45%Grass
2. Greens: 40% weeds 60% Grass
Good layout. Greens were still recovering from being punched. Fairways still thin. Course has lots of potential.
Friday Golf at Anderson Creek Golf Course
Excellent course. Played here again after having played here soon after it opened several years ago. Very well maintained course indeed.
Challenging and picturesque course well maintained. Very courteous staff indeed.!
We were told ahead of the round that the greens were aerated, however, this factor did not affect our play. We simply enjoyed the course as it was a great sunny day !
Would revisit this course again and highly recommend it
Great course but current conditions are
I love this course. The layout and the staff are great but today the conditions were a but iffy. Admittedly, it is still early April, but the tee boxes are bad and the fairways are "fair" at best. My guess is that it will be terrific again by the end of this month.
Great warmup for Pinehurst area courses
Designed by Davis Love III, Anderson Creek sits on a beautiful piece of property, meaning the course has a number of picturesque holes. It's also as difficult a course as you want to make it, depending on the tee selection. Besides the rolling topography, greens complexes are probably the most interesting part of the course with plenty of undulation and interesting pin placements.
