Great deal for the money and easy to move along. Greens are in great condition(very receptive). I would highly recommend this course

The course was a good value at $25/round, but the other reviews oversell it. Greens were slow and had been punched revently (which was not noted).

The course was in very good condition. Several of the holes are unnusual, interesting but fair. Well maintained and run by very friendly and accomodating staff. We had a load of fun playing it.

Great course and excellent price. I would play there every week for that price.

Fantastic course and excellent greens. Tee boxes need a little work and no yardage markers easily visible. Very open course-great for 10-15 handicappers. Clubhouse has a full bar and snack counter. Will definitely be back.

The course is in average condition. Greens are coming back from aeration but are still bumpy. Just enough foursomes to make play slow for a single like me. Will play again when it cools down a bit.

Warrior has perhaps the most friendly staff I've ever had the pleasure of meeting at a golf course anywhere. It's a bit of a drive for me (about 30 minutes), but in Metro-Charlotte it's almost impossible to find a layout of this caliber for the price. Conditions were great, and of the 4 times I've played here, have never found conditions to be lacking, especially for a public course. It plays a bit short for the blue tees, but there are plenty of ways to get yourself in trouble if you don't pay attention. That said, Warrior is a great opportunity to post a good score, at a friendly place with a solid layout, for a very fair price.

The only reason I give it 4 instead of 5 stars, is I reserve 5 stars for the absolute top line courses for which you would expect to pay $100 plus (the layout is better than many in the area that ask $70). Also, #18 is a great little Par 4 that can lead to a birdie but also can bring double into play if you get into trouble with a poor or overly aggressive tee shot (which can be found via OB on the left and woods on the right). Fun little way to finish the round and gives you one last chance at glory to wrap up your round...BUT perhaps not what I would consider a majestic finishing hole.

Overall my group will be back many, many times over.

Course is in very good condition especially compared to other courses in the area. Pace of play can be slow at times and really depends on the day and time. The prices are fair and it is an enjoyable course with a nice layout.

We started a game on time. Employees were super friendly. We were a little slow at first because of a foursome and two some in front of us but everyone was courteous. The fairways and greens were in great shape.

This was the first time we played this course and except for the jerk that stole two sleeves of balls from my cart by the bag drop (got them back when we went to the 1st tee, he was getting ready to tee off with my balls and I saw the sleeves in his cart). The course was in great shape! Had to use just about every club in my bag.

Warrior is a great value for a sub $40 course. The fairways are a little more narrow than I would like. There are a couple that are way too narrow for amateurs like myself. I usually hit around 65% of my fairways and only hit 46% at this course. That being said, my misses were within 10 yards. The rough was not super challenging though. It's bark was much worse than it's bite. I was able to come out clean on every shot without clubbing up. I give four stars instead of 5 because of the softness of the greens and the tee box on number 7. My shots were leaving huge ballmarks, the kind that might not repair very well. I did what I could, but over the long term could lead to damage. The black and blue tee boxes on number 7 are astroturf, not sure what is going on there. We teed up on the whites on that hole and used an iron to compensate instead of driver. Overall, very fun course that has challenges but very playable as well.

Lots of water makes this course somewhat challenging. Accuracy is important, especially in drives. A few long par-3's and 4's. Nice elevation changes. There is a pretty long distance on cart paths between some holes so, if you walk, you may slow up play. I'd recommend riding this course.

Nice lay-out. Greens were very good considering they had just put sand down on top. Should have syringed in but they didn't. Great condition but a bit slow. For bent grass in this area, very nice. Would like to play w/o the sand.
Over-all, good shape except the bunkers...need work. Lots of water but doesn't come in to play that much. Couple of tees need to be rebuilt.

Very nice course, a drive from Charlotte but we'll go back again.

With all of the rain in the area over the last week I expected the course to be waterlogged. It was in great shape and well worth the money.

Greens were in great shape, nice putting on compaired to some other local courses

Well kept with interesting but very fair holes. I cannot think of another place I would rather play a relaxed afternoon round.

I always enjoy playing at The Warrior. The staff is exceedingly helpful and friendly, the food area is quick to serve and the course is fun to play. Got on quickly as a single, but ended up joining two other singles and they were great company. The greens were very slow -- could be all the rain we've had, but the fairways were nice. Rough was thicker than usual, but, again, the rain probably contributed to that. All in all, a great experience as always!

This course is one of the better one is the greater Charlotte area. Nothing fancy but still always an enjoyable place to play.
