No thanks
The course layout is confusing enough, and the fact that not all the tee boxes are numbered adds to the confusion for a first time visitor. There are no yardage markers to be found out on the couse, so you will need a golf app or a range finder. All in all the condition of the course was just ok, very hard and dry. I will not play here again.
Great Price
$23 for 18 and a cart, the deal cant be beat. Course is in decent shape, greens could use some watering because theyre faster than augusta, decent carts. If you’re expecting tpc quality, youll be disappointed….but for a fun, relaxing afternoon of low-stakes, high handicap golf, chapel hill is the place for you.
It’s a good middle ground
This course is an absolute middle ground course. It’s not top notch but it’s not a trash course either. Tee boxes are in rough shape on most holes. The fairways are hard which is nice for an extra 30 yard carry on my drive but rough on the wrists when trying to dig in with an iron. The greens are in great shape. Course layout has a nice mix of challenging and forgiving holes. The clubhouse has an old bowling alley feel to it. My tee time was at 6am and the lady there was in a good mood which was nice that early on a Saturday. Pace of place is pretty solid but I’ve only ever teed off here before 7am. Overall a good experience I’ve been here several times and will continue to come unless something changes.
Course conditions are poor. Fairways need watering and maintenance. Some greens have very bad spots. Need repair
Well maintained course
The course was well maintained. Littler confusing between holes 11-14 but overall a nice course
Fun
It is a fun course. There are styling par fives. It was the middle of the week so it wasn’t crowded.
nice course
good course to work out bugs, need some grass in spots but for the price, it's decent.
Late Season Round
Even though we were out for a late season round the course was in great shape. The greens were soft but fast and the fairways well maintained and clear of fallen leaves. The Tee boxes were a little worn but it is the second week of November. Curious to the new management as the course has improved dramatically. Thank you for a great round!
