One of the Best Public Courses in the Area
We took a quick trip down to Tallahassee in search of warm weather. Didn't find it here, but enjoyed the experience at Seminole despite the temperatures. The course and greens were in great shape. I found the course to be a bit lengthy from the forward tees, so ladies may have to hit a lot of woods and hybrids in to speedy greens. The course layout was straightforward without a lot of tricked-up holes, but it still gives a good challenge. Staff was very friendly and the pace of play was better than we expected. We would recommend this course to others visiting this area.
They sent me out as a single I played only four holes never going back
Nice Course
Greens and fairways in good shape. Rough was ok. Pace of play was not good and it took 4 1/2 The ranger finally moved a group along but we were already on 10 by that time. Good value for the price. $30
needs repair
This course is in average shape but cheap to play. An above average layout with excellent greens. Faiways are a little rough. But for 13.00 bucks how can you go wrong and played in 3.5 hours.
Could have been great
The course and staff were amazing; however, without a Marshall or starter the pace of play was awful. A twosome jumped in front of us to join a foursome. A couple of twosomes behind us gave up after 10 holes. It was a lot of hurry up and wait. The round took 5 hours to complete. Ridiculous for a course in great conditions and amazing layout. The young lady in the clubhouse was awesome and friendly. It started at great with her and went down from there. With those simple course corrections I would gladly go again and invite others.
Beautiful day little breezy court was in really good shape
Was good track
Lots of sloping fairways. Would hit middle of the fairways and end up in rough or water.
Seminole Course - A Treat for Visitors
Visited the course on Cinco De Mayo. The pace of play on the first 7 holes was not so great to start due to a shotgun tournament finishing up in front of us. After that, pace was great. Greens weren't the prettiest to look at but they rolled great. Fairways and tee boxes were in great shape. The bunkers were eh, but I will give that a pass as it rained pretty much the whole day before. The range area could be a bit better as the only have mats to hit off of.
Seminole First
Nice course, friendly staff, pace of play a little on the slow side. Had to wait on every tee box after 5th hole.
Course is in good condition and as challenging as you want to make it.
Greens were good and rolled around 10.
Will play again, and would recommend to others.
Great value.
Course was in good shape
Everything was fine, course was in good shape, green's were rolling good and no slow play
Great course that is overpriced and SLOW
Seminole is a super nice course. Greens roll fast and true. Fairways are great, get a lot of roll when it's dry. However, $65 (price as of now) is ridiculous. I would never pay this to play here. Only play when I can get a Hot Deal through GolfNow. Also, it is EXTREMELY SLOW. Lots of students and old people who do not know how to play even at an average speed. I have never seen a marshal out on the course, and one is desperately needed.
Nice course. Slow. Overpriced. Slow. Play it if you have the chance, can get a good deal, and have about 5 hours to spare.
Average
Course OK but the driving range is horrible..I hate mats anyways but at least upgrade the mats...Staff was great though and a upgrade is near so this course should be great in future
Seminole
Good course to play.
Slow pace no marshalls to help speed slow groups.
This course has a lot of potential..
First time on the course and my wife and I thought it was a great layout and the greens were in outstanding shape. Looking forward to the new renovations of this course.
Very disappointed this time
This was the second time we had played this course. Our first experience was excellent. We had a group of 4 playing in front of us. They were not mindful of time and didn't seem to care. We never saw a Marshall. Never saw a cart girl. We were from out of time so after 9 we had been on the course for over 2 1/2 hours. When we made the turn we stopped in the restroom and purchased a drink. The group was still on the T box. We left after 9 holes even though we payed for 18. If not we would have driven too late.
