Great if you like to wait
A beautiful early fall morning, spoiled by the dreaded SLOW PLAY. The fairways and greens are in splendid condition, but the rough is tough and unfortunately the foursomes in front of us, though playing from the up tees, could not find the fairway with radar. Slow is no way to go.
Good day of golf
Course in good shape. Pro Shop staff took too long to process fees. They were too worried about exact names of players and had difficulty in processing what should have been simple transactions.
Visiting Friends
Enjoyed playing this course. Get on tee and just hit it. Very few lost tee shots. Greens a little hard, but it was hot. Course beats you with distance and small greens, not with having to play any type of target type golf. Great employees! Ton of fun.
Fun course
Great shape. Wide open. Very forgiving. Did not lose one ball. One of my favorite golf courses in Tallahasse. Go Noles !!
Great playable course
Not your typical Florida course. Seminole Golf Course presents a challenging course yet playable for all skill levels. Greens and fairways s 're in superb condition and always well-maintained.
Nice layout
Seminole is a nice course, nice layout, and is well maintained. Newer carts with onboard GPS get you around the par 73 very well. The course drains very well. Tallahassee had rain, lots of it for the last 20+ days. Yet still the course was in good shape with very few soggy spots. Only one hole was roped off as cart path only. Greens were challenging and rolled true. The course is pricey but with a golfnow deal it's not bad. Could use another cart girl as we only saw her once.
Great course!
Great course. Well maintained. The gps in the carts is very helpful for tracking drive distances etc. the only two things that were not great was that if you are taking a break between the front an back 9, you can only get hot dogs or sandwiches and can't order from the menu. The second thing is that they didn't allow us to get range balls because our tee time was in 10 mins. Over all it was great and I will play there again soon.
Great Course!
Great course conditions Great Pace of play. golf cart system GPS was very efficient!
Always a pleasure
Great course, people, facilities….greens really quick, course a little dry. Ball rolls a long way.
Fair and forgiving for all handicaps
Nice track with no houses or condos. Lots of room between holes. A great and courteous staff. Good food at a good price. Overall, an enjoyable round.
Great course
First stop for golf in Tallahassee and it was well worth it. Course was in good condition and the weather was perfect. Great staff and the on cart gps made life easy.
Great staff and excellent greens!!!
Love this corse but play is so slow.... Get rid of the hackers and I would play there all the time.
Seminole
Good condition, golf now has really good deals for this coarse. Fast greens
Great course
Great course for the money $18 on golf now and if your there early you probably can squeeze out earlier..... Some days it's empty and some days it's packed the only thing I can gripe about is the players on the course...... Loud obnoxious and very improper dressing ..... Got groups behind complaining slow play when it is obvious that the course is packed and can not hit till fairways are clear...... But all in all good course for the money only play here when I can't play my country club
Go for the golf, stay for the food.
Excellent course and near perfect conditions. Great value. Amazing bar and restaurant. Great place to play a round of golf and then relax with a fine cocktail and dinner.
Love it!
The course is in great shape. The greens were consistent. It's hard not to love this course.
Great course and price.
Well maintained course, layout and clubhouse. I would definitely go back to play and bring others.
Course was in good shape staff was very friendly
Some of the fairways second cut needed some attention but over all the course is in good shape and some holes are challenging some long holes so have your driver ready
Tight fairways.
Greens and surrounds are great. The fairways and rough must not be watered, as are the green surrounds and greens. The fairways were almost bare, as was the rough. I can see conserving water, but this was ridiculous. Just down the road at Southwood Golf, the fairways were plush-at least for winter. Seminole staff automatically started talking about Winter fairways. They haven't started growing. The Bermuda was green which means it's growing. They are just not watered. My fairways at home in NC are Bermuda and are dormant because of extended freezing nights. They are brown. This course was just making excuses. Why not just be honest. Played at 6,500 yards, green tees. Shot 84 (9 index)
Very forgiving course.
Very wide and forgiving course. This is a great course to just not hold back and rip it off of the tee. The fairways were a little brown but it is winter afterall and the greens were a bit inconsistent but still very playable.
