Great value for the Money
A nice surprise. Great value for the money. Nice course, cart with GPS and interesting layout. Combine this with helpful staff and surprisingly good and inexpensive service and this is by far the best place to play in Tallahasse.
Great Greens
I have played every course in Tallahassee and "the Nole" has the best greens. The course is mostly wide open and drains well. The GPS system on the carts is a great feature for the money. The course was very crowded but thinned out after about 7 holes.
Driving Range has those cheap yellow beat up balls dispensed from a machine and you have to hit from mats. Big downer. The Club Staff inside the pro shop and the starter didn't seem to care if you played or not. Restaurant staff was great, food very good and the prices were outstanding. The service after the round from the attendants was very good and in sharp contrast the those behind the desk.
The overall value for the money was high if you didn't want a lot of pampering.
Great course
Wonderful course, great value, can get busy at times.... Otherwise best value in tallahassee.
Best course to play in Tallahassee
Seminole is one the best places to play in Tallahassee. Always well maintained no matter what time of the year. Can be challenging. Staff is very friendly food is both reasonably priced and very tasty. New carts with GPS work great. Even if it has rained massive amounts.....course drains very well. Greens for the most part are pretty quick....sometimes they are extremely fast.....in summer and winter. I have played at least once a week for years never disappointed in course....sometimes pace of play can be slow. Overall you will not be disappointed.
condition is better than course in this area
Fun course. Really enjoy playing here it has great facilities and a very good restautant
The Greens were super fast
As always the course was in great condition. Since FSU had a game on that day, the pace of play was great. The green were super fast.
fast greens
its a wide open course with fast well kept greens.
very busy so it can be slow especially on Mondays and Wednesday (senior days).
play on game day!
This was game game day so we had the course to our self, Great day and a very nice course.
great course for the money
This course was in excellent condition. The greens are in perfect condition and are definitely challenging. You must know where the pin is prior to hitting your approach shot otherwise you will be left with more difficult putts. Fairways are pretty open. Not much waterto have to worry about. Overall a great course for the price. Would definitely recommend and will be playing this course again.
Great Course! Great Price!
The course and the greens are well maintained and the carts have GPS on them. The staff are friendly and the cost for play is great for what you get.
Great condiiton and wide open!
This course has come a long way since I was a student at FSU in the late 90's! The course is in excellent shape and the lay out is great for all handicaps. Love that it has five par fives and the club house was a great stop after the round. Definitely recommend!
Love to play again!
Wonderful course to play and the greens were ideal. Love all the par 5's (5 of them) and the layout.
Course was in very good shape. Speed of play was terrible.
Beyond the course condition, our biggest complaint was the speed of play. The last 2 times there, it appears they overbook which led to a lot of player frustrations. We had 2 players and it took 4 hours. Many golfers were complaining about this. There was a line of carts at each hole. Management on these days were rude and unconcerned. No rangers working to try to help speed up play.
Great outing even with the rain delay!
Excellent course an very friendly staff. They pick you up and drop you off at your car and the attendant was awesome. Friendly staff at pro shop and bar. We had an hour rain delay but they kept us informed. Great course and probably the best public course greens in the Tallahassee area.
FSU has a great course!
Looked for a course to play at the last minute and Golf Now showed us Seminole. Booked it, played it and enjoyed it! Course is wide open but tough greens to putt.
Greens in great shape and were very fast
Seminole offers a decent test with plenty of tee options. While it lacks a lot of trouble the small quick greens still make it a solid challenge.
Pristine open course that isn't too hard but not too easy
Greens and fairways are fantastic. This is a pretty open course so no worrying about losing balls in the forest. Also only 2 or 3 water holes so no need to worry about going fishing!
Overall a fantastic course!
Great Course located @ FSU!
Collegiate Course with a great staff and excellent dining.
GO NOLES!
Great Course.
Great Course. Great Computers in the carts that show your distances from the pin. Fairways and greens are best kept in town
Great Condition
Seminole was in great condition when I played and the greens were quick and rolled true. I like that 1,9 & 18 are par 5s; just feels like you can open and close your round with a birdie opportunity. There are many tees to play from and the course can get exceptionally long if you play from one of the 2 back tees. For the most part, the course is fairly wide open and allows you to play even after an errant shot. The course is especially nice to play when all of the students are on break; it allows the pace to be much quicker than any other Tallahassee-course on the weekends.
