Glenview Prairie Club

Not super long. Great shape. Doesn’t take too long to play.

Stopped by Glenview Prairie Club on our way from Milwaukee to Harborside. Great short course in terrific condition. Staff was incredibly friendly as well.

I lived in Glenview for seven years and never played this course and I thought I would give it a try.

Too much traffic on account of it being part of a paddle tennis facility. The pace of play is very slow because everyone walks, but due to the layout many tee boxes are a ways from the greens and I played with three older gentlemen and pushing your full bag uphill and into the wind was difficult. The greens are "dual" design in some places, which I find unappealing, but they make it work.

If you've got some time to shoot around with friends and don't mind a mild course for a two and a half hour walk, you're good to go.

When I get through nine holes in a little over an hour shooting a plus two for a total score of 33 on a 31 par it's not only me. It's the nuance of each hole. The strategically sometimes mischievously placed sand traps. I've somehow managed duplicate club choices for each hole consistently and if my swing is fluid I can do no wrong at Glenview prairie! My long game is far and fairway consistent. My second shot usually ends up somewhere on the dance floor. Am I putting has never been better. There's something about the rhythm and layout of this course that makes it super special and an absolute treat to conquer! Always look forward to my next round at the prairie! Ps... Never had a lesson :-)

This was my first time playing Glenview Prarie and I'll definitely be back! I really enjoyed how inexpensive and well kept the conditions were.

It's a par 31 but is visually a nice course and in very good condition. Took less than 90 minutes to play on a mid week late morning round. Only complaint was that when I checked in, there was no pro shop (had to check in at bar) and the attendant was on a bathroom break. Amenities such a s a bar or patio to sit and have a beer were spartan at best too. Great touch was that staff was raking the many bunkers as we played, though for some reason some were wet after more than a week without rain. Sand was sparse in some of the bunkers too but overall course was in fine condition and greens rolled true.

Good course to play for the novice to intermediate golfer at a great price.

Challenging short course. In great condition with many traps and deceiving landscape

Nice walking 9. Decent pace, good layout, my only complaint would be the shared greens. If it's busy you have to wait for the greens to clear twice. Can't rate the clubhouse as I've never been in.
