Good course for value
This nine hole course has improved under new ownership/management; conditions are much better in the last few years, which has helped the playability.
The clubhouse and amenities have also improved.
Continued minor tweaks here and there coukd be done to further improve the course.
Gentle Course
I’ve played this Course 7-8 times during 2016-2017 golf seasons and have never been disappointed in either the Course or its staff. It’s a gentle Course to walk with no real hills. The greens are good sized and have always been very well maintained when I’ve played there. The course layout is ok with trees coming into play on a few holes and a small creek meandering through various holes, sometimes most inconveniently. The fairways are usually pretty decent, but the roughs can sometimes live up to their name of rough, depending on mower height. there is a small but comfortable bar/snack bar area with really picturesque views of the golf course through a wall of windows. I always enjoy playing here when my time is limited or i know the 18-hole courses in the area will most likely be crowded. Would highly recommend for a causal, laid-back 9-hole round.
Course was hard as a rock
I have played this course many times in the past and it has been okay. I believe there was an owner change and it has gone downhill very fast. There was very little grass because the ground was so hard and had not been watered in a long time. Would not recommend anybody to go play here until they fix some major issues.
They advertised 18 hole course, show up and it's a 9 hole lady tells us "oh yeah just go around twice." Poor golf course overall in my opinion. I won't be going back.
Good beginner course
This is a 9 hole course. There is 1 par 5 and there are 2 par 3's. If you are a beginner golfer, this is a good course to play because there is not much trouble you can get into. You probably won't lose any golf balls on this course.
When I played there, the fairways were pretty tall. It was hard to tell the difference between the fairways and the rough. This may have been because the course was very wet.
If you hit a long ball, there are a few of the par fours that might be reachable on your drive which is always fun.
Had a great time !Owner was very friendly and a great value for the money.
Golf
Nice course decently lay out need to add more bunkers around the green got to protect the green since there's no water on the course except one small creek an awesome layout had fun broke 80
EASY COURSE
This is a great course for the beginner or when you cant get on other course. Its pretty wide open and easy to hit fairways for the beginner so they don't get discouraged. I play it once a week and always found the course in great shape.
Its just a great all around basic course.
Only 9 holes/Very scoreable
Says it's an 18 hole course on Golfnow. Was disappointed to find it only a 9 holes course. It's a decent course that's well setup. The rough is quite long but greens are well cared for.
good course condition
cold sunny windy day in November .
I would play another 9 hole if not windy.
highly recommend beginner with also challenge to average player too.
Great deals
Great price
nice people
good for juniors
Fun course
Excellent value for the price.
Friendly staff, laid back atmosphere, great value.
Peaceful country setting with gentle rolling hills
We like this course because it is an easy course to walk. There are nice updated carts to use if you need one. The setting creates an enjoyable game because of its location in the country and away from road noise. There are holes for every level of player. The club house is well kept and a good place to stop for the "10th Hole" refreshment.
We taken our out-of-state golfer friends to Beaver Creek and they have liked it too.
Wonderful!
First time we were there, Bob was wonderful. He remembered my name when we came back in after playing, and was really helpful overall. The greens were perfect, I couldn't ask for much better.
My only complaint was there wasn't a drink cart going around the course. Not sure if it was too early (we played in the morning) but it would have been nice to have that available.
Thanks so much!
