Disorganized
We checked in to be told they were 40 minutes behind. Signed up for the West coarse and was pushed to the east coarse. Play was very slow.
Nice golfcourse
Perfect course for my standard well maintained friendly Staff. Will play there again. Patrik
Great times
Took my friend out to the who came down from New Jersey this weekend. We had a great time. The course is in good shape conditions are nice. The staff was very friendly and courteous, we arrived right at our tee time. The staff got us right out and we had a great time with the pair that matched us up with. A must-do course.
Great, fair course.
Got a good price from golf now and played at 8am. Finished in 4 hrs. Course was in generally good condition with some crabgrass but not too bad. Greens were slower than most Florida courses but rolled true. Wish I had played better but it was not the course's fault.
Needs Serious Work
TL/DR The course is rough shape and needs some help.
I've played this course a few weeks ago and it was a different course. Its if they just decided to stop taking care of it and giving it the love that it needs to be in good condition. The fairways are patchy and have numerous bald or weedy patches, the rough blends with the fairway at times it's hard to know which is which, the greens have sand clumps (they almost look like giant ant hills) and bald patches and speed was very inconsistent. Traps for the most part were OK. The staff is friendly which is a plus but there is almost ZERO organization with the starter. They have almost no idea what's going on and what they are doing. We checked in, they said they'd come get us, never did, we go back and check in again, we get set to 1st tee, arrive and 2 foursomes waiting. The driving range only had a few patches of grass so hitting off the mats was forced. There is nothing really at the turn except water, cart girl came by once and said if we need anything to call the proshop.
This is the peak season for golf in South Florida and prices usually reflect that so I expect more. There are substantially better courses available a little south and after playing here I'll be playing other courses. Very disappointing they let the course go like this it use to be nice, not amazing but better than this for sure.
Great greens
The course is in excellent shape, especially the greens. I’ll definitely play it again soon. Great value for Golf this time of year. Only negative was there wasn’t any cart person to serve drinks or snacks.
Simply nice
Nice course, a little « dated » but overall « simply nice »
Just a complete mess!
The starter didnt have any clue what he was doing. The fairways were longhaired and not well kept. The pace of play was extremly slow. They just wanna get as many peolpe out as possible so they overbook so much that it stinks.
Kids as starters
I arrived an hour before my tee-time and bought a big bucket of balls (for $8) cos plenty of time to varm up or even practice a little bit.
But as soon as I was out of the Pro shop the starter/starters (which all seemed to be 15-18 years) were all over me to get me out NOW with another single. I insisted on hitting a few of my expensive but really shabby range balls and then we drove to tee #1 ONLY to find a 4-Ball waiting to tee off, another 4-Ball waiting in the fairway on another 4-Ball on the green!!
They have no idea what they are doing at that course and on top of the the condition of it is really poor and not worth it.
Played here 3 years ago but things have gone down hill fast apparently.
play there often as well at the palm aire courses,, you can thank Clublink which owns these courses as well as Heron Bay for the downward spiral all these courses have taken!
They are only interested in finally selling off the courses to developers!
Woodlands East is slated to be sold and closed for condo developement
