International Golf Club - Oaks Course
About
The International Golf Club boasts two championship courses, the Oaks and the Pines. Tom Fazio designed the Oaks Course, it was his first design in New England. Overlooking the lush Nashua River Valley, the course has a scenic and diverse landscape that Fazio fully utilized. The Oaks is routed alongside the Pines Course, which is known for being the longest course in the world. Fazio carefully molded the existing topography and also incorporated several waste bunkers for added challenge. Although it is considerably shorter than the club's original golf course, it is still a round that will formidably test your skills. The course finishes with a downhill par 5 that will test both your distance and accuracy with a tree-lined fairway and a green protected by bunkers, grass swales, and waste areas.

good lay out with nice variety
this is a good track and is a good test from the tips some hole play real long a golf now deal makes it a nice value. Do not pay full price
Great Course
Great course little on the high side at $129.00. But overall a great course. You owe it too yourself to play it.
Everyone should put this course on their list!
GREAT COURSE!....The grounds are immaculate and the staff are very cordial.
Nice Course
They say they allow cart on fairways no carts on 3 5 and 9 and when they do allow on fairways no carts 125 yards from greens. I played for 35 years on fairways as good or better and we were allowed carts to about 30 yards from greens. Also the fairways you did not allow carts where as dry as a bone.
Course is nicely routed.
Unfortunately we were not made aware that they were going to be aerating the collars on all the greens and closed some holes and did not allow carts on several fairways. My rating for our day would not be very good because of its condition at this time and the fact that were not made aware of it before hand. I'm sure it would be fun to play it when it is in better condition. I doubt if I would go back as there are other courses that are more reasonably priced that are closer such as Pine Hills, Granite Links, and Newport National to name a few.
Nice course but not walker friendly.
The Oaks course is a nice course with some really good holes. My two complaints are:
- it is not at all walker friendly
- it has two very similar holes (9 & 10) that are back to back.
best public course in America!
well, I haven't played them all but this one is hard to beat. Very challenging from the blue championship tees. I like the back nine which features 3 par threes as well as 3 par fives. we never had to wait but it was still a five hour round because it was cart path only due to previous days rain. It would have been a four hour round in normal circumstances. I found the greens very difficult to read. course is beautiful and well maintained.
A Pricey Treat
Definitely save this one as a special treat and play in the off hours. The Oaks is a beautifully designed and impeccably-maintained course--but it is not a resort course. This course is tough! Too tough for the average Joe (or Jane) and nearly impossible to walk, but go anyway (and ride) so you can see what great golf design is like. You may never get on the Pines (another wonderful course), and they are very different from one another, but you will enjoy your special day at the International. And stay and eat--the restaurant is fabulous!
Beautiful course!
The International Oaks course is a beautiful, very well maintained public course offering challenging play without overly punishing bad shots. The pricetag is a little high for my budget, but it was a pleasure to play there. I'll be back, but it won't be every week.
very nice 18 holes!
our foursome had a great time! The staff was very friendly and the course is very nice lay-out.
Very nice challenging course.
Nice to play a basically private course. Conditions were great, pace of play was fantastic, and course layout was nice.
It's just too slow
Figured I'd give it a second chance after my first round took 5.5 hrs. The price with a 25% discount ($55) was just too good to pass up for such a nice course. But a second 5+ hr round (on a Friday at 2 PM) is not worth ANY price.
Won't be back.
Great!
Great course, greens are nice. I think they could do a better job with signage at the course, it's a little confusing. This was a good deal and I'll definitely play here again. No water holes on the course! Well guarded greens with beautiful bunkers. Sand is typical New England course gravely sand, but we've had a lot of rain, so I'll forgive.
Excellent New England setting
The course is great and generally very well maintained but the bunkers (which there are plenty!) lack maintenance; some of the green side bunkers are full of stones and pebbles. A few of the bunkers had the look and feel of crushed stones!
The guest locker rooms were unavailable because of lack of staff.
The pro shop staff is real friendly.
This course is in great condition!
For the money on golf now this course was worth it. My only gripe would be the bunkers.
Awesome Course
The International - Oaks course was a great experience. The course and staff deserve every award and top ranking from all golfing publications. I look forward to playing another round at the course, I was able to snag a great deal through Golf Now.
Great value with a hot deal.
The course was in great condition and the staff very helpful and friendly. My only concern is getting stuck behind a slow group and not being able to play through. A ranger would be of great help.
One of my new FAVORITES in the area
Although the rack rate is steep if you get a deal go for it. The course was in great shape. There are plenty of tee choices/yardage options for all levels of play. A must play.
