International Golf Club - Oaks Course
About
The International Golf Club boasts two championship courses, the Oaks and the Pines. Tom Fazio designed the Oaks Course, it was his first design in New England. Overlooking the lush Nashua River Valley, the course has a scenic and diverse landscape that Fazio fully utilized. The Oaks is routed alongside the Pines Course, which is known for being the longest course in the world. Fazio carefully molded the existing topography and also incorporated several waste bunkers for added challenge. Although it is considerably shorter than the club's original golf course, it is still a round that will formidably test your skills. The course finishes with a downhill par 5 that will test both your distance and accuracy with a tree-lined fairway and a green protected by bunkers, grass swales, and waste areas.

Slow pace of play. Oak Course.
On the first tee, and on a very dry day, an attendance was sent out to tell us Cart paths only. We never saw a ranger though. After 4 hours we were at hole 15.
Great Course... For $65-$80
Beautiful course, pleasure to play, I'm an 18 handicap and found the course fairly straight forward from the green tees, the whites are for those who are 10-15 hcp only, the course is 6-700 yds longer from there. I'm glad I paid $65 for it, don't think I'd pay $130. The practice facilities are superb and at the higher end of the greens fee, unlimited balls on the range would be nice.
Slowest round EVER!
THis course has a high reputation. BUT, for a club that charges $129 to play, I would think they could afford a ranger on course. Round took 5hrs and 40 minutes to play. What they need is a new director of golf operations. Conditions we good but not great. They have slots on the golf carts for divot sand, but none was provided?? Many many divots and ball marks all of the place on the greens!! A ranger could help here too!! I will not return to this course until I hear otherwise. So SLOW that every tee shot first like the first of the day. Course is WIDE open. Not difficult at all. JUST WAY TOO SLOW of play.
Amazing course
If you love golf, you must play here at least once in your lifetime. This is one of the most amazing courses I've played in a long time. Pace of play was slow, but understandably so because the course was very crowded. Staff are super friendly, they meet you at the bag drop and ask you to pop the trunk so that they can take your bag to your golf cart. Even the restaurant staff are super nice and the other patrons too!! Maybe there is something in the Bolton air or water that just makes everyone that much nicer to everyone else. Back to the course, the fairways and greens were in pristine condition. I'll definitely play here again.
Private course conditions
I had played here a few times the previous year during the early afternoon, and the course was generally pretty empty. I was surprised to see how full the course was at 4:00 pm. It took at least 2 1/2 hours to play the first nine holes, and we gave up after 12. The course was in great shape, and the layout is interesting, but if the pace is like this I won't go back.
5 1/2 Hour Weekday Round Bunkers Full Of Large Rocks
5 1/2 hours to play a round on a weekday. No ranger to move people along. I play at some pretty low end courses and these were the worst bunkers I have ever seen, lots of golf ball sized rocks in every one. Even at $69 I would say this course is overpriced.
Great for the $$
Got a hot deal, $49 for a 130 tee time. Well worth the price with the friendly staff and quality practice facility. Might be a little much if paying regular $.
Great condition but one long round
It was my first trip out to the International and I had hear nothing but good things. The clubhouse, practice area and course are all in wonderful shape and it does have a private club feel. My only issue and it was a big one was that the round took us over 5 1/2 hours on a Thursday afternoon in October. Showed up 45 minutes before our tee time to find out there was a shot gun tournament going out 15 minutes before us but we were assured it wouldn't effect our round. Waiting 5 minutes on almost ever hole starting halfway through the front 9 and all the way on the back was a bit of an issue. For the money and the private club experience I was expecting a lot more about the pace of play. Would give it another shot because the condition was excellent and a tough challenging track but hope to beat our time of 5 1/2 +.
Great Course - Enjoyed Playing
One of the better courses in the area - Like the practice facility very much
Great Layout
The course was so beautiful. Challenging holes and you could score on some of them as well.
Very nice tract
Ok, this is a tough one to write. As stated it is a great tract but not for the full retail rate. Although course is in "private" condition there are no truly memorable "golf" holes. No water (hazards) on course. Signature seems to be traps in front of elevated greens. No flowers or flowering trees on course. No starter. For $100+ I like 10 minute tee times enforced. Because private, no comfortable 19th hole to relax in after round. Carts feature GPS. When all is said in done I would return for a discounted rate but there are nicer public courses for $100+
It's worth a try
I went on a day when the greens were aerated, so I can't make a definitive assessment. Well-designed course that lets you see where you should be hitting. Almost all the greens require a carry, with few opportunities for run-up shots.
Because several fairways were roped off on the day I played, the GPS was useless on those holes -- not good for someone unfamiliar with the course. Fairways have few markers for yardages.
Excellent practice area, but you're given only a small bag of balls to hit before the round.
All in all, serious golfers should give the course a try. but it's pricey and clearly geared more toward the members than visitors.
Upscale facility with 2 Courses, one private
Played the T. Fazio Oaks course. On many holes, elevated view from the tee shows how the hole is intended to be played. Then up to you to execute. Well-placed green side bunkers to encourage safer or riskier angle and shot selection. Overall, very good mix of hole layouts, green depth, and elevation changes that make things interesting and fun. One of the best ranges in the area. Great service from the time you are greeted till you complete. The two times we played, offered and agreed to cut short range to tee off early. Pace of play was as fast as you wanted. Very enjoyable.
Excellent course for the money. Very challenging course
I recommend this course if you are less than 10 handicap.
Great Course
Well maintained, tight fairways and fast greens. This is a bit outside my normal venue but it is a treat to play a high end course especially if you get a good deal.
