Highfields Golf & Country Club

First time at Highfields on a cool but pleasant mid-week winter day. Found the course to be in great shape. Love the layout, challenging but fair. Would definitely play here again. Staff was very friendly.

One of the top Central MA courses with plenty of variety to keep it interesting. Fairways are pretty generous so you can take out the big dog on most holes.

We had a marvelous warm day in November. Pace of play was not great, but mainly due to carts restricted to the path. The layout is good, greens were a bit slow but smooth. I would definitely enjoy playing here again.

The weather was a bit damp, and this resulted in us having to follow a cart path only rule after initially being told we would be using the 90 degree rule by the starter (who checked with the clubhouse - but not the superintendent). The course conditions were excellent - though some greens still showed evidence of having been aerated at least a couple of weeks ago. The greens rolled true for the most part. The layout was interesting, varied and challenging. I will play here every chance I get! We our threesome was done in 3 3/4 hours. And the price was right - a great value!

While the staff were generally friendly, customer service left some room for improvement. There were no carts out when I arrived at 7:00 am for a 7:30 starting time. After checking in I was told more than once that I would have to walk back around the building to retrieve a cart… a pretty minor thing, but given the place was quiet it seemed like an opportunity to cater to this customer - who gets out to Grafton from Boston only a couple of times a year… who knows, it may have even inclined me to put something in the tips bucket when I dropped the cart back at the drop off. As it was, it seemed kind of cheesy to have a tips container there without an attendant. But I guess this is how they roll at Highfields.

A nice layout, challenging holes and some wonderful views. Will definitely play again.

As usual, Highfields provides a challenging layout with very good course conditions. Only drawback was a few tee boxes were beat-up because multiple tees were from same location. Pace of play was excellent, little over 4 hrs on a Sunday. $78 with car on weekend also not bad for a course of this caliber.

From the first to last tee, very slow play. Almost a 5 hour round. Greens not rolled, nor cut. Not worth the greens fee. Course has potential.

Cart path only.....rough was about 5 inches high and could not find ball......no ball washers anywhere on the course and NO drinking water despite high heat and humidity........greens in good shape........cart paths need repaving and filling in potholes....course needs some work...

Friendly staff, nice tee boxes, very generous fairways, and mint greens all add up to a great round in Grafton. Course is fairly flat so easy to walk and there is plenty of variety for all to enjoy. Highly recommend this course as it is in phenomenal shape. Great meal & drink options after your round as well. Five stars for sure.
