Great course, in great condition too.
Will be back, really enjoyable to play. A test for any golfer.
Great value
Played Co Meath with my sons which is always fun. Like most courses there was a few very wet parts of the course.. For this time of the year the greens were in fantastic shape and rolled well. My only complaint is that a lot of the course is closed due to conditions however we were never informed of this from the pro shop..After taking the normal layout we were informed by a few friendly members of the current layout.. We were out for some fresh air so the layout didn’t bother our enjoyment however if a few friends wanted to play a normal round they perhaps might not enjoy playing certain holes a few times to get in 18 holes.
Overnight rain
Holes 4and 5 were closed due to heavy overnight rain- but we had a grand day there .
Nice plesente round of golf.
For the time of year the course is in great condition, greens nice , wonderful surface to putt on. Recommended.
Very good course with some interesting
Course in good condition with some long par 5s. Par 3 to start is always tricky but overall an enjoyable round of golf.
Forgiving with fast greens
Played here today for the first time, was quite a windy day with wet surface. Course is in great condition with tightly cut fairways. Important to get into a good position off the tee. Greens were quite fast which made it quite challenging and well placed greenside bunkers. Would advise reading the pro tips while going around as they were a great help with positioning. Look forward to going back again, would highly recommend.
Good but not great
Course felt quite short. Chance to get on in two on a couple par fives. Holes themselves not too challenging. Flat and straight mostly. Greens are okay but looked more like good pitch and putt greens, where the aprons blend into the fairways. Great value for the price and beautifully kept pathways between holes. Restaurant very comfy and good food
Ok
The course was in excellent shape the greens were perfect , long story short not exciting lots of par 4s and 3s all in all a good walk.
Lovely parkland course in County Meath!
Lovely parkland course with mature trees. Looks easy but can get you unawares! Very nice greens which were fast enough even after the rain!
Lovely course
County Meath Golf Course has a little bit of everything meaning the golfer has to think their way around the course. Well maintained with greens running true. Well worth a visit.
