The Golf Course at Adare Manor is considered one of the premier parkland courses in Ireland. A past Irish Open venue, it will also host the 2026 Ryder Cup, the second Irish parkland (The K Club in 2006) to hold golf's most popular event. The Robert Trent Jones Sr. course from 1995 was completely rebuilt in 2017, improving drainage and modernizing a beautiful design that showcases the amazing Adare Manor and the Maigue River.

Irish Parkland Jewel

This course, a former host of the Irish Open, is at the Adare Manor Resort and can easily be confused with the Adare Manor Golf Course next door. (The photo above is actually from the latter!) This is a world-class course with corresponding everything. Beautiful and challenging with several holes along the River Maigue and a small lake. Course was in great shape, except they had just punched and sanded the greens which when mowed in the damp made putting very tough. (Got a deal including rental clubs because of it.) Spectacular views of the Manor itself coming in on both nines. Superb facilities and a great staff. Course winds through the trees with some elevation changes for extra challenges.

Adare Manor Hotel and Golf Resort

Excellent course in excellent condition for the month of December. Slight delay in tee-off time due to frost, but given a bucket of complimentary balls for the range while waiting. Full teeboxes and greens throughout and not one area of 'ground under repair' on the course. Very friendly and accommodating staff with fantastic after golf facilities, i.e. locker rooms, bar, restaurant. Very good value for the price paid.

Lush, green, and quite challenging!

Adare Manor is an outstanding place to stay and play! You won't believe your eyes when you walk through this totally renovated castle hotel...it's truly awesome! Everyone who works there is super friendly, including the golf staff. The course is in GREAT shape, the greens are receptive and fast, and the pace of play is wonderful!

A True Gem in Ireland

Adare Manor is an incredibly underrated course in Ireland, hidden behind the traditional links courses. However it easily holds its own against some of the bigger and more popular tracks.

Adare is meticulously maintained, fairways and greens in perfect condition. A light rain made everything a little slower, but still very challenging with quite a few risk/reward shots to be had. Pin placements for the day made scoring a challenge, but still fair. I was one of the early tee times and was able to make it through 18 in 2:30 hours.

Highly recommend you add this to your list of courses to try when in Ireland. More than worth it!

great views of castle

course is nice, well maintained greens, some spotty areas in fairways. As far as value for money in Ireland I would give it a 6-7 out of ten. When the wind blows(which it does everyday) the course gets much harder. Make sure you bring rain gear, you'll need it by the end of your round. Walking is a must since electric carts are so expensive-bring a lightweight stand bag. Golfnow price is the same price as people staying at resort!!
