Prairie Falls Golf Club
About
Prairie Falls Golf Club opened as a nine-hole course in 1999 and the second nine was added in 2000. Though each nine has a unique character, they combine seamlessly to create a fair test. It's an ideal course for high handicappers learning the game but it's not an easy course by any means. The front nine is a player friendly parkland layout with wide and forgiving fairways. You won't be penalized if you're slightly errant. You'll have the opportunity to build up your score on the front nine, putting you in a good position for facing the tougher back nine where there is less room for error. Prairie Falls Golf Club'a back has a links-style design with narrow fairways and tricky greens with subtle breaks. It's a challenging but fair course and if played smartly there are some birdie opportunities available.

Would be a fun ,challenging course if not for the pace of play.
Greens recently aerated and sanded, which wasn't a problem as we knew in advance. Biggest problem was the pace of play, no Marshall on course. Stacked up 3 deep on some of the tee boxes. the 2 groups in front of us were playing as a 8 some. All would tee off from the TIPS, then the 1st 3 would play their 2nd shots, and continue to the green. Next 2 groups would then play to the green , then all 3 groups would putt out and tee off as a group again. They wouldn't let the 2 some right in front of us play through even. Won't be golfing there again when there are so many other great courses in the area.
Seemed like no one was in charge
Loud music was allowed
Drinking way too much allowed
Peeing signs up by tee box

very long round
The course is very well maintained and in great playing condition. It was apparent the time slots had been overbooked, wait time on every tee box on the 1st 9. The second 9 at 2 groups waiting at every tee box and sometimes 3.
Great course
Need to seriously think about either replacing the sand in the bunkers or cleaning the rocks out of them. I will not hit out of those bunkers. Other than that i love the course.
Prarie Falls Review
Nice course, pretty easy. Some slow groups in front of us but they let us play through. Nothing like N Idaho friendliness!
Nice course
Nice course. Downside they took out the driving range to put in houses. Pro shop was a trailer as they are building a new pro shop that is going to be state of the art.
Great fun track
Great course and in really good shape, but just wished the course played a little longer. Very interested what it will look like once the pro shop and practice facility is completed. Overall fun experience though!
Duffer's review
Course was in great shape. Seems like it's turning into an executive course. 1st hole reduce to 230 yards but still rated a par 4. Sand traps need some help. More sand and more raking. Overall, great build confidence course!
Good fun with friends
They’re under a ton of construction while the new clubhouse is being built. Things were a little confusing at first due to this, but overall had a fantastic time. Friendly folks working, drink cart driving around with cold beverages
Fun, Unique Layout
This place is somewhat unique for the area in that the front and back nines have very different feels, the front more of a links style with bowl shaped fairways to help keep your ball in play, and the back more in the trees and neighborhoods but still pretty wide open, and every hole is memorable for different reasons. Great views throughout the course, right from the first tee!
Downside was conditions and slow pace of play, as tee boxes were often not level, sand was pretty old and inconsistent, carts were not smooth with a nasty whiplash effect whenever accelerating from zero, rough was a bit thick, and the parking lot was too small (though they are in the early process of creating a new clubhouse with I assume expanded parking). However, greens and fairways were doing quite well for October.
Overall, a great course that could use a little love, but with the TeeOff deal, it's one of the best values in the area, and I wouldn't mind keeping it that way.
Great day of golf
The course was laid out wonderfully, with driving past nice homes, over train tracks, across the road all with great views. Pace was perfect. Loved the water features/hazards. I’d like to know why one of them was vibrant blue. Course was forgiving which meant I didn’t even lose one ball. Found it on GolfNow.com at a Hot Deal but even the regular prices with cart were great. When we come back to Idaho from Kamloops, BC, Canada, we will be sure to play here again.
