Prairie Falls Golf Club
About
Prairie Falls Golf Club opened as a nine-hole course in 1999 and the second nine was added in 2000. Though each nine has a unique character, they combine seamlessly to create a fair test. It's an ideal course for high handicappers learning the game but it's not an easy course by any means. The front nine is a player friendly parkland layout with wide and forgiving fairways. You won't be penalized if you're slightly errant. You'll have the opportunity to build up your score on the front nine, putting you in a good position for facing the tougher back nine where there is less room for error. Prairie Falls Golf Club'a back has a links-style design with narrow fairways and tricky greens with subtle breaks. It's a challenging but fair course and if played smartly there are some birdie opportunities available.

Great fun course
First time playing this course and it was a fun short course. We finished at a great pace. Staff is super friendly and when my driver needed tightening they had all the right tools.
Great track
The staff was very friendly. The course was in excellent condition. Biggest issue is people not fixing their ball marks.
Great stuff!
I was very impressed with everything about this course. The fairways and greens were immaculate, well groomed, green and weed free. It was short, but very playable and made for a very fun experience. I would highly recommend it to all mid level golfers and others as well.
My GPS wasn't picking up the course and Scott let me use his... He's a worker there... Thanks Scott! You guys are all great.
Took my wife golfing for the first time.. Had to go with a two young gentleman. They were patient and the greens were in great shape.
super slow back nine
Front 9 went well, Back nine took 3.5 hours,,, ugh it was awful.
Nice round. Course in good shape so far this spring.
They have switched the front and back nine, so now you go off on what used to be #10. It's a par 3 and that seems a little weird to start on. We flew through the course in 3-1/2 hours with waiting on every hole on the back. Suddenly at the turn, there were new people in front of us. I think they jumped in. But it was still a fast round. Hole #5 is completely closed, but they said it should open next week. The course was nice and green. The greens still a touch patchy. Just wish they would get better mats on the range.
Two different courses in one.
Front nines winds through homes and is fairly flat, but still no gimme, and the back nine is hilly with undulating and tricky greens. The greens on both nines are large and good shape.
The 9th and 18th holes are par 5s with large ponds you need to be careful of on your approach shots.
Great round
weather was perfect, course in excellent condition, and the pace of play was fast.
Too Wet
I have always enjoyed playing Prairie Falls. This last time we played the course was too wet in many areas. I understand they need to water to keep the grass alive when it is hot but, it was over watered in a lot of areas making it worse than winter conditions. Unfortunately I would not play it again until conditions improve.
Friendly Staff - well manicured course
Top notch public course. Friendly staff. Well manicured course. Pace was a little off that day it seemed. It took 1 hour to get to #5 tee box where we again had to wait. It did finally take 4 1/2 hours total for 18.
Not worth the cost.
First off if you find a really good deal with the golfnow app the course might not honor the price. This happened to me Oct 1st 2016. Found a great deal booked it then got a call in the morning stating the golf course made a mistake on the listing and wouldnt honor the price. So when i called the golf course they were extremely rude and just didnt care.
On another point unless you find a really good deal the course isnt worth the money. They want top dollar for a $10 course. You're better off going to the Highlands great place and a good price. Plus its a fun course.
Hello, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are sorry to see that your overall experience was anything short of 5 stars, but we hope you'll give Prairie Falls Golf Club another try in the near future.
