Amazing
Thousand Acres is one of my all-time favorite courses I've played. Every aspect truly deserves 5 stars - layout, conditions, pace, value, etc.
The back nine opened to the public recently so I got to play all 18 holes this summer. The course offers beautiful Maryland mountain scenery, as well as a variety of challenging but still enjoyable holes. Conditions of tee boxes and greens were immaculate, and everything else was excellent as well.
I highly recommend this course to anyone who wants a high-end golf experience. This place has lots to offer!
Great Course and greens
Played this course for the 3rd straight year. It arguably has the best greens I have ever played for the price to play.
Great Course
Played this course for the second straight year and the greens at this course are in great shape. They are fast, roll true, and are in great shape. I would highly recommend this for those traveling to the Deep Creek area. Looking forward to them getting all 18 holes as it is only 9, not sure if they are or not. Would also like to get them on the MSGA website for those who keep an index as I am not sure if they are considered a PGA course? Nevertheless a great 9 hole experience.
excellent 9 hole course
Only the front 9 is open on this newer course. Back 9 is still under construction. Beautiful course. Great layout. Challenging yet very fair. Friendly staff in the clubhouse. Great place to play in deep creek area if you don't want to go to the wisp. I'm very excited to see this when it is 18 holes.
