Collicutt Siding Golf Course
About
Collicutt Siding Golf Club is situated just 20 minutes north of Calgary in Crossfield. The player-friendly course will appeal to players of all ages and abilities. The golf course offers two distinct nine-hole layouts with a straightforward front nine that is followed by a more challenging, links-style back nine. The golf course was created in large part by great community effort. Construction began on the front nine in 1994 with equipment, materials, and labor that was almost entirely donated. The back nine was added in 2003. The golf course operates as a nonprofit organization, benefitting the entire community. Though it may not be what you're looking for if you want a truly formidable test, the course is a prime example of prairie golf with natural grasses and pristine water features. In addition to the course, Collicutt also boasts the largest junior golf academy in Canada.

Good value and friendly staff
First time playing here and was happily surprised. Friendly staff and good value makes for a good day. Pace of play was pretty good as we finished in just over 4 hours. A couple of drives require laying up (which we didn’t know) so it will be better net time.
Good course
Everything is good. The first 9 has 6 pretty basic holes, which really takes away from the overall playing experience on the front. Back nine is really good.
Beside Myself at Collicut SGC
Awesome conditions, joined up with a local member, super friendly. Fantastic greens, fast and true.
Lofted shots stay on target. Great pace of play, under 4 hours.
KUDOS to the greens keeper and staff.
Slow pace
Female marshal needs to learn the job a little better. You can’t speed up play sitting on the 17 and 18 T boxes. Starter shouldn’t let next group T up until first green clears. Instant bottle neck at 2.

Needs some work to bring back tee boxes fairways and greens... Awfully windy in this open spaced course.e
Generally good course.
You may redesign the score card to provide more information about each hole layout. Don't remember where are the water hazards after tee off. that'll slow down the pace.
On course Marshalls and pro shop staffs are all very friendly, thank you!
Great outing
Great day in the country, hottest day of the year so far. Back 9 most challenging. Great pace, great time out, a great thing to do through covid restrictions.
Poor Management
Very disappointed with this golf course and management, Mr Lynden. After driving out to play around on a very wet, windy and not busy day at all I was told that I couldn't just play 9 holes. Long story short the explanation was that the software would not let them book for 9 holes.
When I said that's okay I can just pay you cash, then the managers excuse changed to "Well I don't want to set a precedent." I asked for clarification, that on a crappy day of bad weather your not willing to let some play nine holes on your very not busy golf course? This is ridiculous, and very poor organizational leadership. It appears that they are not interested in attracting or working with paying customers when they play silly games like this. Which is to bad it is a nice little course, specially for new golfers. I hope if anyone does venture out to play they are better received.
