What a great find
First time playing Heather The course was in excellent shape greens were fast and true You had to read the putts and if you did it right the ball went down. Fairways and tee boxes were nice had grass and were being taken care of.
Will definitely be back
review
While it's a short 9 hole ( 2486 yds from the back tees ) it was still quite challenging. The greens were in great condition....fairways were OK and the sand traps needed some work...no water hazards to be concerned with....it was a fun nearly two hour "trip" for the three of us...still had trouble breaking 50.....would like to return again someday.....
Nice course to practice clubs!
It’s a 9 hole and not executive, the fairways were well maintained, the greens were airriated at the time, I’m looking forward to playing the course again.. great value and golf carts good condition.
nice greens and fairways
Narrow fairways and dogleg layups with greens that are far from huge put a premium on accuracy versus length.Condition of greens and fairway were a delight
Nice course
Excellent condition. Friendly staff. No driving range to warm up with.
Doglegs
First time playing this course. I had to figure out layups off the tee. The course was in good condition and the greens rolled true. Fun day of golf .
Neighborhood course
Good course for a quick 9 holes early morning or evening. Also good for teaching kids. If you live close it’s worth going. If not close it’s not worth the money or drive.
9 hole great value
The course is non executive but excellent to practise club
Control, greens were still growing from a irrigation, little slow but looking forward to a week or two out. Carts are in great condition. Great course for a family outing.
Great little course
The course is in good shape. The greens were very fast. We were able to play 18 in a little over two hours. There is no driving range. The staff was very friendly and the rates are a good value. The course is pretty short, but it’s great for a quick round.
Hidden gem returning to excellence
Nearby nine-hole course that has seen better, and worse times, now improving in every aspect of playability. The greens are among the finest, and fastest in the area, no more hammering short or long putts. And, the fairways are lush and easy to hit from, not like previous sand trap like conditions. Overall comeback course that I look forward to playing.
before and after
We played here last year 2019 never wanted to go back the greens were all sand was hard to find anything on them that looked green, this year 2020 they made 180 degree turn around the greens are perfect condition great course staff very friendly we plan to play here for next 3 months before we go back north.
Still needs work
While they have improved dime of the greens, especially hole #2, which was a disaster before, there is still a lot that needs to be done. Many fairways a sandy or weedy, there are still sand ditches in some greens and the new placement of 9 is not noted for the old players. The bathrooms need attention and you need water, edpecially in the FL heat. We will try again next month.
terrible condition
I agree with Wilson. This course is in the worst condition I have ever seen. greens are not playable.
don't listen to low handicappers on here. NO low handicapper would play this course or find it nice.
Hidden gem
This little course will surprise you. It plays much tougher than it looks on paper. Some of the hole layouts are very challenging, and the pace of play is usually really good. The staff is friendly, and I always enjoy myself at the Heather Golf Club.
Nice course!
I was pleasantly surprised. This course was in good shape, fun to play and a great value. The new owners have seemed to have been making some good investments back into the course. Although this was my first time playing this course, I had been by it a few years back and the change in management is evident.
