About
Edmonton Garrison Memorial Golf & Curling Club is centrally located within 15 minutes of the Edmonton Area, St. Albert, Morinville, and Cardiff. It first opened as a nine-hole course in the 1950s. Since the second nine wasn't added until 1996, there is a distinct difference between the front and back nine that makes it feel like you're getting two golf courses in one. The front, the original nine, is a more traditional parkland layout while the back is a more open links nine. You'll face a different set of challenges on each. The smaller greens on the front are indicative of the time when it was built and the size will also test your shot placement skills. In contrast, Edmonton Garrison Memorial's back nine has large and undulating greens as well as more strategically placed mounding.

First time this year
Everything is cool except the group in front was slow; they shouldn’t be playing blue tee since they consistently couldn’t hit 150 yards straight.

Delays
Frost delay pushed out tee time back 1.25 hours. when we did start, every tee box on the front 9 there was waiting. Not all was because of weather , but players that think they are big hitters and they are not.

Great course great team … today slow play on the front

Never get tired of playing this course, just minor hiccup today, but it was solved & we had a throughly awesome time as always. Don't really want to give great review as it is run at a great pace right now, too many people read about it, I'm scared it will get too busy but all joking aside, highly recommend this course, thank you Garrison, you guys are awesome

Great course!
First time playing. here. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. We loved the history lesson as we played 18 holes. Some challenging holes. Woulda play here again that’s for sure!!
