Quail Hollow Golf Course, located in Wesley Chapel, sits a convenient five minutes off of I-75 and state road 54. This championship course, designed by Charles E. Griffin, has been a favorite of Tampa locals since opening in 1965. The layout underwent major renovations in 2011 that totally reconditioned the greens and fairways as well as partially rebuilt it to make it more challenging. Bunkers were both reshaped and added. Water hazards come into play on a few holes and the large bunkers are strategically placed along the greensides. The golf course is demanding at times and will test your shot-making skills, but it is a fair challenge that is not too intimidating for beginners. Four sets of tees make it even more approachable for a range of skill levels.

Say Goodbye

Quail Hollow is closing April 29th 2018. It will be sad to see it torn down in order to build homes but that is exactly what is taking place. It was a nice course always at a great price! If your in the Tampa area the next 8 days, try to stop in and play.

The course was in bad shape. Fairway and green were bad. Lot of weeds in the fairways and brown patches on the greens

Last chance to play here

Fun easy course. Closing in about 6 weeks. Last minute pricing is a bargain. Of course there are some rough spots but they still mow Abe the greens are fast and interesting. Play here just to say goodbye.

Good value for the $$$$$

The course could use some TLC. The fairways are hard. The greens need some care. And they could use a beverage person out driving the course. But that being said for $30 its a good deal. The pace of play was exceptional. It's not my first time playing Quail Hollow and won't be my last.

Terrible Green Condition

I have played this round every year for the past four years on my time in Florida. The conditions this year were terrible . Fairways full of weeds and the greens were all brown and patchy.
