Quail Hollow Golf Course, located in Wesley Chapel, sits a convenient five minutes off of I-75 and state road 54. This championship course, designed by Charles E. Griffin, has been a favorite of Tampa locals since opening in 1965. The layout underwent major renovations in 2011 that totally reconditioned the greens and fairways as well as partially rebuilt it to make it more challenging. Bunkers were both reshaped and added. Water hazards come into play on a few holes and the large bunkers are strategically placed along the greensides. The golf course is demanding at times and will test your shot-making skills, but it is a fair challenge that is not too intimidating for beginners. Four sets of tees make it even more approachable for a range of skill levels.

Greens well cared for. For the price you would have a hard time beating this place.
slow play
flew through the front nine, back took forever. Twosome in front of of were not there on the front and took forever to play

Great round, we got out early. Greens were a little slow, but they were damp. Course is in good shape considering this time of year.. 2nd time I've played this course, good layout..

was told last year the course would be closing for homes to be built and that hasn't changed so wanted to play it again before it was to late not sure when it will happen the greens were slow fairways a little thin but no worse than any other course no big issues it was slow very crowded took 5 hrs to play but the course is very playable find a deal for 20 or less and u will enjoy it
Worth the money
This course cost 22 dollars. Worth every penny. Slow play poor greens poor fairways. I’m not upset about it. What do you expect for 22 dollars? I should have got her name but the young Lady at the counter was exceptional. Polite, knowledgeable and went the extra mile for the smallest of requests. If anyone at the place reads this, hold onto her.
Almost back
Had not played Quail Hollow since early 2017. Course conditions then were deteriorating and the greens were poor.
I was surprised to find most greens in good condition. Only 3 were still an issue. #s 4, 12 and 18.The winter rye grass made all of the greens were smooth and puttable. The tees and bunkers were in good to very good shape.Only the fairways were brown as they were not over-seeded, but they were better than most unseeded courses. they are trying to bring it back

Great job Quail Hollow for investing making an effort to get this course back in shape especially the Greens and areas around the greens , sand traps in excellent conditions.
Nice Course - Good Value
First time at Quail Hollow. Thoroughly enjoyed the day. Layout from white tees was fair, with good challenge and eye interest. Greens were in excellent condition.
Great course for great price
I'm a 12 handicap and have played this course for 5 years there have been some ups and downs at this course conditions but its finally back to how I remember it.
