About
Lacombe Golf & Country Club opened in 1925, but the site has roots in golf that date back even further to 1910 when golfers would use the former cow and sheep pasture to hit balls. It has undergone many changes over the years but the layout still retains its classic character. The golf course is situated along the PEII, midway between Calgary and Edmonton. The par-71 layout is routed through dense groves of mature, towering trees. They loom above the fairways and provide a backdrop for nearly every hole. When the trees are combined with the golf course's small, undulating greens, the layout becomes a true test of your accuracy. In addition to the golf course, Lacombe also offers a driving range and a practice putting green with a bunker.

wonderful first round of the year
We had such a awesome time. Weather was perfect, the pair we were matched with were so much fun. It was a no rush round.
Didn’t get to play. Course closed
Would’ve been nice but course closed cause of weather
The course was in great condition. Fairways were nice and green. Greens a bit tricky. Enjoyed our round and will come back again.
Great course with something for every level of player
A nice blend of challenging but fair holes and great scenery. The course was in very good condition with only a few greens having bad spots on them. Enjoyed the round and only had to wait on a few holes towards the end due to a backlog in front of us
Great course
1st time playing Lacombe G&C ! It was truly amazing.. some challenging par 3’s. truly beautiful .. felt like I was in BC .. couldn’t believe the terrain with all the rolling hills.. felt like BC!
Well maintained
I obviously played there last summer, a little too much snow right now...
Lacombe is a great course at a fair price and they have deals during the middle of the day as well. The course is always well maintained and a good challenge ( I have played well but never my best at that course). The staff is very friendly. As a bonus, the course is literally 1 minute off the main highway!
If you're in between Edmonton and Calgary, don't miss it.

Have not played the course in years and found it difficult to see the hole lay out and hazards. No map on the score card.
