Nursery Golf and Country Club
About
Situated north of Lacombe, Nursery Golf & Country Club is conveniently located just off of Hwy 2 between Edmonton and Calgary. It lies just east of the Canadian Rockies. The course appeals to players of all skill levels, from beginners to pros, thanks to a diverse range of holes. You'll have to contend with tricky doglegs and tree-lined fairways as well as several different water hazards, including a stream that cuts across the entire golf course. The layout crosses over the stream several times, connected by scenic wooden bridges. The tranquil setting of the golf course is ideal for a round of golf. Nursery Golf & Country Club finishes with a tough par 5. There is trouble nearly everywhere you turn on this hole with tall poplars lining the fairways and a sloped green. If you're even slightly right of the fairway you'll be punished with a blind second shot.

Nice Layout
The course was in okay condition with the greens be true but a little slow. the fairway were a little patching in areas. The layout was very interesting with no two holes being alike making it a fun round with may shot needed to score well. I would play it again now that i know the ares to avoid.
Great layout
Greens are in great condition and getting fast. A bit of water damage on the fairways but overall I enjoy playing here. Love the layout of the course, great risk reward opportunities.
green are really good
greens are great , fairways are really improving, had a great round!!!!
Good day
Great weather, course was well groomed and the pace of play was amazing! The course was fun!
greens very nice
some holes had some winter kill , greens are very good.. a bit windy, still had a nice round
The course has been better
I've golfed here many times before and enjoyed it but this time I felt the course was still undergoing repairs and readiness. They seem to be behind for the start of the season. I look forward to a better round another time.
Great round
Course had some winter kill on a few fairways, greens where awesome!!! Would recommend!!
Great Greens!
Greens were in great shape for this time of year, fairways a little patchy but not bad for this time of year.
Great layout
Loved the layout and variety of the holes, lots of water comes into play. The greens were nice but lots of brown bare patches on the fairways. I'll play there again for sure.
Occasional Golfer
This course provides challenging fairways but is good for people like me. This was my first game for over a year and a half. So I really enjoyed myself.
No employee in Pro shop at tee time and the shop was locked up. Greenskeeper staff finally got us cart keys.
Guys Day
Four of we golfers meet once a year for a fun game. We enjoyed the course, both with our successes and our self imposed challenges. The Nursery is quite aestheticallly pleasing and is surrounded by glorious farm land. The course is worth a try for first timers.
Exceptional Course!
A must play in Central Alberta! Very well kept Course!
Morning Rickrw. unfortunately you had the misfortune of coming out the day after aeration so yes the greens were not at their best. Greens Aeration is a necessary evil in the golf industry but everything is back to our normal high quality now. hope to see you again soon
