Nursery Golf and Country Club
About
Situated north of Lacombe, Nursery Golf & Country Club is conveniently located just off of Hwy 2 between Edmonton and Calgary. It lies just east of the Canadian Rockies. The course appeals to players of all skill levels, from beginners to pros, thanks to a diverse range of holes. You'll have to contend with tricky doglegs and tree-lined fairways as well as several different water hazards, including a stream that cuts across the entire golf course. The layout crosses over the stream several times, connected by scenic wooden bridges. The tranquil setting of the golf course is ideal for a round of golf. Nursery Golf & Country Club finishes with a tough par 5. There is trouble nearly everywhere you turn on this hole with tall poplars lining the fairways and a sloped green. If you're even slightly right of the fairway you'll be punished with a blind second shot.

Good Value. Well kept course.
The Day was worth it. Made the golf course look even better. My only beef would be the need for some yardage to the water on the tee boxes. I drove it in the water twice because couldn't tell how far it was with my Garmin (had no laser range finder). Great day. Fun beautifully manicured course. Lilacs in bloom and smell was wonderful.
Hidden Gem But pricey
We played as a 5 some. 6 players in front of us,2 players behind us who caught us on 8 and seemed not to be concerned. Played thru the 6 some on # 10 and sailed thru the back nine in under 2 hours.
Total time 4 hrs.
The course raised the rates from last year, new carts,
Overall great course.

Nursery suprise
Great interesting holes, great value , amazing flowers
Needs a lot of work
The fairways are still in really bad shape, especially on the back 9. The trees have 2 feet of grass around them. I’ve played this course a lot because I can get on for 22 bucks, and generally enjoy it for a quick cheap round, but that’s about all I’d spend on it. I’d rather pay the extra 15 and play Lacombe.
We appreciate you taking the time to review the course and rate us. Thank you for the 4 stars! We aim for a 5-star experience, so we always welcome feedback for improvement. Thank you for playing Nursery Golf and Country Club.
