Banyan Cay Resort & Golf
About
Originally opened as the Eagle Course at President Country Club, Banyan Cay Resort & Golf was renovated by Nicklaus design in 2017. The fairways are lined with coquina and pampas grass and there are also water hazards and sand bunkers coming into play throughout. The layout offers interesting par 3s that offer particularly nice scenery and a mix of par 4s that range from having ample room to being very tight and requiring more careful course management. The golf course opens with a risk-reward opportunity, a dogleg-right par 5 with a strategically placed lake.

A good day on the golf course
Enjoyable, challenging course. Can't wait to play it again, and see what I can do with a little course knowledge.
Don't waste your money
This course used to be one of the best in the area. They have let it go to the point the greens are very slow with a number of them having dead spots. The fairways and tees are not very good either.
very good course
we had a very nice day, on a very interesting course.
Really great golf course
The Eagle golf course was challenging but I absolutely loved it. Perfect course conditions and weather made a great round.
One of the best courses we played.
Great challenging course but fair to all handicaps. Immaculate condition!
Enjoyable course.
For first time at this course, I forgot to pay strict attention to GPS for lurking hazards. It was a good play anyway.
This course was nicer
I had play that course before and It was a lot nicer last year.
So ,I will not recommand or return there.
Nice layout - Greens BAD
I loved the layout but there was human error on a cocktail mix for the greens and it killed a lot of the grass
This course could use some better maint.
South Florida has numerous golf courses that are in much better shape that can be played at lower greens fees.
Overall good experience
The course was a little run down but over all had some great holes.
Nice track, greens ok
Nice track but some greens a bit bumpy. It was a nice Sunday and little slow in terms of pace of play
This course is highly recommended
One of the best course that I have ever played.Highly recommended.
BRING YOUR "A" GAME
Challenging, but very enjoyable tract. Lots of water and many well placed sand traps. Greens are difficult, mostly small and hilly.
The GPS screens in the carts are very helpful and necessary, especially for first time players.
Overall the course is well maintained and fun to play. I did not play well on this particular day, but I will return again and look to improve next time.
Nice course.
Nice course. Very challenging all the way through. Greens very quick but hold very well.
Very well maintained.
Very well maintained course challenging layout. Accomodated my early tee time went out as a single completed round less than 3 1/2 hours. Pace of play excellent wait on only last three holes.
Lot of water in play so bring extra sleeve or two.
Nice course,
Fine bones
Good condition
Challenging greens
No Mickey Mouse
Worth the extra 15 minute drive
Enough water in play!
Worth every pennies and now only one 18 holes - Eagle! Great...
course is nice
I've seen the course in much better shape. I wan a little disappointed in the condition of the the greens and some fairways.
Nice course, Challenging, Good Price
Enjoyed playing the President CC. A fine, challenging course with many water holes that is in good condition. Greens were very good and rolled true. The staff was cordial, the hot deal price ($14) for 18 was spot on! Downsides? The clubhouse was closed when we finished (after 6pm). So no 19th hole refreshments, quick meal, clubhouse banter with the players after the round.
