Banyan Cay Resort & Golf

The course conditions are 5 star. The new ownership has cleaned up the course a lot. They are still transitioning the food and beverage are so that's why I gave a poor rating. Overall this is one of my favorite courses to play.

When we arrived at the course, the bag drop was closed. We carried our bags to the cart area. We were told by an attendant (AFTER we had paid our greens) that it was cart paths only. It was 90 degrees that day. At the conclusion of a long, exhausting round we were unable to return our cart to the return area because the path was blocked by construction. We had to abandon our cart and carry our bags back to our car. Never again!

Great layout in very good condition. Will probably be more enjoyable overall when clubhouse renovations are complete.

Conditions were fair and the ownership transition has left the course without any off course amenities. It is a nice track with some interesting holes. If you want to go straight from the parking lot to the tee and back again it is good value.

Always a challenging course. I'm sure that after renovations to facilities are complete course will return to its pre-construction standards.

2 club wind added to the challenge of playing this very nice RTJ Jr course. It should be very interesting in the next couple of years to see what develops on this property, I played this club in their heyday and I see where parts of the facilities has fallen into disarray. Hopefully, in the future, management can revive this wonderful facility back to its previous splendor.

Yesterday I had the chance to go play this course for the first time. Starter was very friendly and the practice area was in good shape. They are doing construction and renovations but everything still looked great. Tees off on time and got paired with a couple of great guys that play there often who really helped me navigate the tough course. Fairways are in great condition and so were the greens and the scenery is just beautiful. Nice and tough course but still forgiving fairways. Lots of interesting turns and hazards made it challenging to pick the right club and make a great shot. Would reccomend this course to anyone definitely worth the little bit extra$$

I saw a nice deal on this course so I read the reviews and looked at images. I've played over 20 different golf courses so far this summer alone, combination of private, semi-private, public and municipal courses. I'd say by far this is my favorite course. The course looks beautiful and the condition is in great shape. This course looks like a private course. Snack bar is really nice too. It was a 60 mile trip for me but it was well worth it. I'm definitely gonna play this course again and would highly recommend it.

After learning that this golf course has a lot a elevations, I told myself I have to play this course even though it's an hour drive for me. This course didn't disappoint. The course is in great shape. Most South FL courses are flat, but this one is different, making you feel like you're in another state. I got paired with 3 retired locals, and they were big help especially on blind shots. Overall, I had a really great time and I highly recommend this golf course. In my opinion, this course is one of those "must-play-courses" in all of South FL.

Stay out of the water and the pampas grass and it's a fun course to play. Has some very good holes, greens were in good shape. Try it I think you will like it.

It took me 2 years to take the long ride south to visit the course I called "the best I've played". Since then Bella Collina has moved into my # 1 spot but the President's is a very close second. Spectacular detail to everything a golfer could ask for. Well worth the drive AND I got only my second eagle of my life, which made it more memorable. If you haven't played here make it a point to go and if you have, what's taking you so long to go back?

Overall The course was in great condition. The staff did a great job of accommodating my pace of play! I would recommend this course to anyone that is in the area. Is a great course with some old-time charm. They do a great job of keeping the condition of the course is in great shape even during off-season. I can see why so many people want to play this during the winter. Keep up the great work and continue to let the locals play this course for a great deal

Greens were punched and sanded, understandable but a bummer. Course was very dry but it doesn't rain in south Florida anymore so that too is expected. Look closely at the hole map on the cart before approach shots, several bunkers not apparent from approach. If you have a good start to the round- LAY UP ON 6. Reachable par five with very small landing area, water in front and behind green. Take par and get out of there. TRUST ME!!!!
