Situated in the heart of Alberta, Ponoka Golf Club is nestled in the scenic valley of the Battle River on the southeast side of Ponoka. The beautiful site provides more than just an ideal setting for a round of golf, it also serves as home to an abundance of wildlife. It's not uncommon to be joined by deer during a round at Ponoka. The golf course is a local favorite that has gained popularity thanks to the diverse layout. The holes range from links style to tree lined, testing players with a variety of different shots. Strategically placed bunkers come into play along the contoured greens, which are often either elevated or double tiered. Water only makes an appearance on Ponoka's final hole where going over it isn't recommended for the weak of heart! This par 4 plays right into the wind too, making it all the more challenging.
