Strathmore Golf Club

I have played the course in the past and not much has changed. It has its challenges but if you are playing even OK golf, it doesn't penalize unfairly.

A good player will get more out of this course but it is fine for every level choosing the appropriate tees.
Recently the prohibition on going into the wetlands has been lifted so the enjoyment level has been enhanced further.
The only negative element is the GPS hutoff on the carts ,which has the appearance of value but is really problematic if nasty weather comes in and you need to take the quickest way back to the clubhouse.
Otherwise a tremendous days golf and very enjoyable.
What is benefit to having cart girls circulating against the play and risking injury?

Good course, play blue tees, not much difference from white. Fun course. Could use more sand to make it more challenging but if you are hitting greens you should score well.

Course mostly in great shape, got a great rate but with 7 min tee times got really backed up, 40 min late before got off and then took 5 and half + to play. Nice day but hard to get into any kind of rhythm when waiting every hole. I would go back, but maybe not on a weekend.

I will play this again and again like it great lay out

First time playing here... best bang for the buck in the Calgary area... will play here again, about once per week.

Have played here for many years. The 2 nines are very different to give some interesting shots. The greens are tough! Watch for those breaks. Quiet country type track but very well taken care of. Not a goat track by any means. Will definitely keep this course on my play list

Absolutely a price I couldn't pass up. $25 CDN including cart booked through GolfNow. The course was in perfect condition and the staff were very pleasant.

Surprisingly nice greens. Great course conditions. Friendly marshals keeping pace smooth and fun. Only complaint is one hole had what appeared to be a large fairway bunker on the right but was hard dirt so stay left. Good challenging course.

Had an awesome time.. First time there, great service, and value. Hope to go back again soon.. Was the first time golfing in three years.

They have cut back the Rough areas making the course a little easier for hackers loke me. Some Very challenging holes such as number 5 with an island green, Great Risk, Reward holes where you can GO FOR It, or do course management.
Greens are Very well maintained, but Very fast. Probably stimped to 12 or so. Greens are fair though, ao again, one can challenge the holes, OR manage the risk. Overall, a very good golf experience and worth the drive, for me, from Aldersyde re one hour. Course is also verynwalkable for those with pull carts, or carry bags. Only two hilly holes re 6&7.

Had a great day at the golf course & will go back again. Did not use any of the off course amenities so could not rate that.

Teed off at 7PM for nine holes and finished up at 9:25. Had to wait on the par threes but other than that the pace was good.

For early in the year I would say this course is in mid season shape already.

Greens smooth and true but very hard. Very little winter kill on the fairways, only 1 fairway seems to be affected. New GPS on the carts that are very complete with interactive touch screens and showing where and how far the carts in front of you are. Unfortunately ours died at hole 6 but the one on the other cart worked well. Got Skeeter bit on the first box so bug spray is recommended. All in all a great day.

Played the front nine only. Liked the layout. GPS carts are very helpful. Course was in good shape for early in the season. Greens were very well maintained and challenging. Course was clean. Did not try the clubhouse restaurant this time. Will go back.
