Quick course.
I played this course in 30 mph on super bowl Sunday. I've heard that later in the morning it can take 5 hours to play 18 holes. I guess because we started at 8 am and it was 55 degrees and windy it only took 2.75 hours to complete the round. Good layout for an executive course.
Lone pine
Great course and well layed out. Anyone who wants to practice or play it's the best bang for your buck in the area.
Tee times not followed up by staff
Consequently a 3'rd player without clubs will be playing up in front... There is a lot if waiting time. And a tendency to break off at 13 hole without even involving staff.
Good By for ever...
Having done that a couple times, we wil not return.
However, driving range is well managed and the Lady Pro is very good.
I suggest you make the whole layout a training facility with Pros caddying I.e. 4 players all 18 holes...or something similar...
Great course for beginners or hacks trying to improve their game
SUPER WINDY DAY !
Driving range was as expected.
Par 3's and 4's only.
No sand the entire 18 holes. & only two holes with water.
The fairways and greens were in very good condition.
This is an excellent course for beginners, seniors, and hacks. A seasoned or advanced player would probably not find it challenging enough. The gentleman in the pro-shop was very friendly. The last time I played here was 1998. I just resumed playing again and really enjoyed today's outing.
The rates are right where they need to be for this course and I will definitely be back.
Quick play
Four of us played in three hours, friendly little course. Greens in fair shape but what do you want for $20
Accessibilté
Bon rapport qualité prix pour l'emplacement. On peut jouer un 18 tout en tout près de 3 hres; ce qui nous laisse du temps pour le reste de la journée
Lots of fun and good condition for summer
booked a morning tee time (830) and it was not busy at all for a Labor Day holiday.
Was able to pair up with another gentleman who was a regular and absolutely loved it! The course was well maintained, greens were in great condition except for 2 holes where the edges were a little burned out but that was maybe only 1% of green surface, very minor and not significant.
Course is very fun to play and perfect for practice since all the holes are par3 or par4's only.
I will be returning for more rounds.
Note: if you play, please repair ball divots and take care of course.
Rude Staff Member
We were running a bit late, and instead of coming up to us and asking us to head in or anything like that the guy rode up pulled the flag out of the hole while we were on the fairway and yelled were closed...
35+ years of golf and I never seen anything like that, was playin at this course because it was my son's girlfriend first round, there are plenty of courses with nicer staff nearby.
Great fun course
Really a lot of fun
No sand traps
It had a tough water hole
Great!
Good course for a quick round
The lack of a starter or tee times sometimes presents a problem because if hole #1 is backed up the overflow of players migrate to hole #10 and create
large backups for players coming off of hole #9 who
obeyed the rules.I've experienced waits of 10 minutes and more on each tee of the back nine.
Great walking course
Great greens easy to walk friendly staff. Good course for beginners and seniors.
Thanks. But, no thanks.
I don't consider myself a golf snob.....but holy cow! The antics of some of the golfers and the oblivious attitude of the staff was all I could take. It's a good thing its cheap, because that is the only draw I could see. I won't be back, nor would I recommend this to anyone that I like.
Good practice
Good for Seniors. However, if they'd play from where they should, it would have been better both for them and the pace of play. A par 3 of over 145 for women is difficult unless they have really good distance or can reach the green in two from wherever they tee it up from.
Very windy that day.
Great value
I got a great deal from Golf Now on this course. Very large practice area. This is a great course to work on my short game. The greens are somewhat small for the most part but in very good shape. I was playing as a single and there are no set tee times here so you just go to the first tee and follow whoever is in front of you. There was a foursome in front and behind me but still managed to finish in about 3 hours. Will definitely be playing here again.
Great condition
This course had the best conditioned greens I've played while here in Fl. I played the longest tees and the narrow fairways offered a challenge to iron play. It was a very enjoyable outing.
Short game
Lone Pine is a great practice / short game course for beginners to intermediate golfers. I highly recommend this course.
Great value
Good course for working on approach shots and control. Narrow fairways and smallish greens.
A bonus is the practice range. No mats, all grass. Plenty of stations, too.
Lone Pine
Good course for working on your game, especially irons. Better than hitting balls on the range.
Great value for the money
A fun course to practice your short game. Excellent for seniors.
Beau terrain
Mieux qu on s attendait
Le deuxième neuf vraiment beau
Greens superbe
Très bonne valeur pour le prix
