Ledgeview Golf and Country Club
About
Ledgeview Golf & Country Club sits on the scenic north side of Sumas Mountain. The course offers panoramic views of the valley to the west and the Coast Mountains to the north. Its hilly location provides plenty of elevation changes throughout the course. Golfers will be hard-pressed to find a flat lie anywhere on the layout. The golf course is covered with towering trees, which come into play often. There are water hazards and strategically placed bunkers throughout as well. Ledgeview's signature hole is the challenging eighth, which the club claims to be one of the best par 3s in all of BC. It is a tricky downhill hole that plays to a narrow green protected by sand. Trees border the entire length of the hole along the left side and a pond treacherously waits to the right.

Nice greens, slow slow slow pace.
Played Saturday at 1:30. Greens are nice, around the greens the grass is in rough shape with the hot summer. The pace was very slow. 2hr and 35 min 9 holes. That kind of killed the round. No Marshall anywhere. Good to see the course busy, but over 5 hours for a round is not acceptable.
Flat surfaces are overrates.
Great and challenging course. You rarely hit off a flat lie! Help yourself with good driving and putting, otherwise you might be in for a long day.
Frustrating
Today started out sunny with all expectation of having a great round in perfect weather.
Quickly that turned to waiting around, literally all day. I really don't understand how this day in age we can still have these issues and not resolve them on the course. The course had nobody monitoring pace of play, I even called in because waiting for 15mins at each tee box is unacceptable. Still nothing was done. I play several times a week and there is nothing worse then not being in a rhythm. It really does not make it worth it to me to go out. I'd rather practice on range for 4 hours then hit and wait.
The course its self has a fun layout but the greens aren't kept as nicely as other courses in the lower mainland. Lots of divots which is the players fault for not fixing, who also could be contributing to the pace of play. Seems to go hand in hand when it comes to lack of courtesy and self awareness on the course.
It was very busy on the course and no cart girls for refreshments. Seems to me like an easy way to make money but something I assume they don't offer or care about.
With so many courses in the area to choose from I'll be staying away from Ledgeview for a while thats for sure.
They market it as a hidden gem, I would say that it's far from the truth. The club house is run down and old, the pro shop has a bunch of 40% off discounts and very bare. Nothing special here, and for $60 plus $32 cart it's value is not there.
Sorry to be down on this one, but it's not up to par when looking at the overall facility.
Great!
Excellent! Had a great game on the course! It is very challenging!
MUST GET A POWERCART
Great course will play it again and also recommend it to others. If you are going to golf here you MUST get a power cart. It is very hilly up and down elevations. food wasn't that great but really what are you looking for when out on the links. Overall great time
Need a Cart pricey when factor in the $42.00/ cart
The course offers a nice challenge. Some tight fairways with slopes and interesting lies. Undulating big challenging Greens.
Very difficult course to walk.
Cart cost is very high at $42.00 for 1 or 2 riders.
Same price $42.00 for 9 or 18 holes.
staff needs a refresher course
I booked with golf now and then called ledgeveiw to ask about booking a power cart. I told them I booked on golf now and I was told the rate was $20.00. when I arrived I was told the rate was $40.00 because they don't make any money of golf now.
so be aware of ledgeveiw's policy when booking
Course love
undulating fairways, elevation changes, treacherous greens, challenging par 3's, soft white sand, Wow factor, wonderful landscaping with colourful shrubs and flowers, tree lined fairways, great course at a reasonable green fee, what more do you want, highly recommended
Excellent condition
Very nice well maintained course, but a little too pricey for this end of the valley. We used to golf here quite often when the had coupons and were on the Province golf card, but now have to wait for things like a Golf Now special.
they dont want gnow business
tried to charge me 42$ for a single to use a power cart. every course i have booked on with gnow i was charged the regular half a cart and have played over a hundred different courses. its sad that they obviously cant see the big picture of a customer who would spend money on food and beverage or at the pro shop or would book with them in the future they just want the money now and don't care if you ever comeback. i have played here many times and i live very close. but after today i will not spend another nickel there ever. guy in front of me wasn't even wearing a colored shirt i guess they just don't care. take the money
great course poor customer service
course was in great shape however staff was curt, called the day before to see if I needed a reservation for a cart,no problem. Was told 30$ for cart but when we got to the course were told that if you go through GN.COM it's 40$ Be aware of this shady practice. It put a sour taste in our mouth before you even teed off.
What a golf course!!!
Easy to see and feel why Ledgeview now has two kids playing on the PGA Tour. What a wonderful track. Need all your clubs for this 6100 beauty!
Great Par 3's
Great Character
Coming back for sure.
Overcharged for cart
Booked online via Golfnow - called the proshop before hand asking how much a powercart would cost, was quoted $30. Got to the course, charged $42 for the cart, claiming because the round was booked online, the cart somehow costs $12 more. The round was slow as it was a holiday so very busy. Liked the course overall, but not happy at all that a cart costs more because I didn't book the round through them - talk about nickel and diming the customer.
Ledgeview
My wife and I teamed up with PJ and friend. Perfect weather. Interesting course and a beautiful experience. Will be back.
Good course, but too expensive
This course is my back yard. I am living close to this couse. I know this club well, enjoying golf here many times. This couse has lots of up and downs in it , giving us dynamic experience. However, too expensive comparatively.
A course in good condition for this time of year
Course had some heavy rains for two days before we played so carts had to stay on cart paths. Most fairways were soft .. no plugs but your ball picked up mud on every shot except short approaches. Greens were in excellent shape and very true. A well kept course. Course is quite hilly so if you are not in decent shape I would recommend a cart.
Nice Course
Always enjoy playing Ledgeview. Has a nice variety of tough holes and some short par 4's. Par 3's are very challenging. Very scenic course with lots of elevation changes.
Good valley course
For 15 March the greens were in outstanding shape. They were fast and difficult. The course is in excellent shape and a great value for the money if you are in the freezer valley
well groomed
this course will challenge every aspect of your game
good for that person looking too improve your game
