About
Sunnydale Golf & Country Club can trace its roots back to 1923 but the 18-hole course that exists today did not come to be until 1983 when a second nine was added. During its remodeling as an full-length layout, the greens were seeded, irrigation was improved on each hole, and hundreds of trees were planted. The golf course has matured nicely into a player-friendly layout that appeals to all skill levels. The layout features flat, tree-lined fairways and small greens that are sparsely but strategically bunkered. There are also some greens that are dome-shaped to watch out for. Water hazards come into play on several holes throughout Sunnydale Golf & Country Club. Between the ninth and 18th fairways there is a practice area golfers can use that features two putting greens.

This is a great little gem
Found a great deal on Golfnow but after playing it, I would pay full price. There were lots of interesting moments on this course that would make you shape your shot. Greens were in good condition. Too bad about people not fixing their ball make and divots.
We (2 players with 20 handicap) played at 2 pm on a Friday before a long weekend and we finished 18 holes in 3 hours.
The members were friendly and helpful. Overall a good experience.
Great!
Had a great time today. Looked like we were going to get wet but the rain stayed away until we were done. This course is long and straight with some tough bowl shaped greens. If you can not hit the ball straight this course is going to be tough. Overall had a great time and will play here again.

Course in god shape. Was a hot day but a nice breeze kept it reasonable.
Great course poor staff at pro shop
We had a great time playing the course but the man in the pro shop when we showed up was very unpleasant when we told him we booked power carts but yet there was none showing. He did not try and work with us, was not apologetic, and was rude. The course and the staff in the bar/restaurant were awesome and we had fun time regardless.
A Fun BC Day
We do not get out to golf a lot and while we have golfed here at Sunnydale before, it has been a while. For part time golfers, it is a fun and a bit challenging and very enjoyable.
We will come back at least 2 more times before the season is over!!
Perfect day on a perfect course
The weather was sunny and clear with a high of 24C. The pace was relaxed with no hold ups.

Challenging course
Sunnyvale golf courses is a easy, and challenging course that reward would satisfy golfers in many different ways.
Great Afternoon of Golf
The course was in excellent shape, from tee box to green, every hole. It was busy, but no issues.
Horrible Pace of Play!
Great deal on golfnow, but terrible pace. 4 holes in 1 1/2 hours. Got to #5 a par 3/4 and there were 4 doubles on the hole. Nobody in foursomes or interested in one. Quit and went to clubhouse to complain. Staff were not interested in making it right.

The rain held off, pro shop staff were great, course and greens in very good condition..pace of play great as well..means a lot to me..
Nice friendly local course in Courtney
Full size, we’ll maintained. Mostly flat in the valley bottom of Comox. We are no hi maintenance golfers - Great course, especially for the price. Friendly staff. We’ll be back.
First round of the year
We really enjoyed our round. Play was a super pace, course not so busy today. Staff are awesome, Thank You .
Greens fast, enjoyed being outside ,lovely to see the deer, and enjoy the outdoors. Cart path only, try to strategize hitting your shots closer to the cart path, if mobility is an issue. Happy golfing !

Course was in pretty good shape for this early in the year. 3 star course but still challenging, greens are small and tough to hold. It will test you. Played on the 21st and 22nd, 3 hours and 3.5 hours,great. Go have some fun at a great price,
