Delta Golf Club
About
Formerly the site of a cedar swamp, Delta Golf Club was covered in blackberry bushes when it was being developed in 1971. The golf course was completed in a record 64 days and opened officially in 1975. Since then, the course has garnered a faithful following due to its player-friendly layout featuring wide-open fairways and immense, approachable greens. The club is also known for its friendly atmosphere and the affordable green fees. The masters-length layout has an interesting variety of holes with a good mix of par 3s, 4s and 5s. There are trees dotting the golf course, especially along the fairways, and strategically placed bunkers, both of which require accurate shot making. Putting on the fast greens also requires some skill. Delta Golf Club is made even more challenging by the water hazards that come into play throughout.

deserve to play for practicing
deserve to play for practicing. not official golf course but good.
Long grass
Good value for the money. The grass off the fairway was too long and very hard to find balls.
good course
I've played Delta for a few years now and it just gets better and better the fairways are as good as more expensive courses I play and it usually
takes less than 4 hours to play
Easy walking
Another great day at the Delta Golf Course. Staff is very friendly and the course is in great shape.
The only problem today was that the mosquitoes were hungry. They show up without prior announcement, but that's golf!!
Soggy Slogging
The Delta Golf Course is a good intermediate course that is well laid out with a few challenging holes.
Our only issue with it was that the fairways were very soggy. Due to the dry hot summer, the course has overcompensated for this by drenching the fairways. One of the fairways had lengthy 6-8 inch deep tire tracks from one of their lawn tractors. It took me a while to find my ball in one of the ruts.
Hopefully they will learn from that as we would definitely like to return if the fairways were in better condition.
Pretty good course
It's a deceiving challenging course at times. Beginners will lose balls. The course is nicely maintained although the rough can get long. Really good Hot Deal on GolfNow for $20.
The layout is a little confusing. More signage would help to find the next tee.
I enjoy playing here.
User Friendly Course
Delta Golf Course has developed a very friendly feel to the whole place, from the time you check in till the time you finish - along with a cold beer and bragging contest, of course.
Don't expect PGA standards, but lots of challenge with trees, water and sand to keep you entertained.
Besides that, the price is right!!
worth it
I played here a couple of weeks ago and enjoyed the experience, so I decided to go back. The course was in Summer condition but the greens were very receptive considering how hot it has been. My only complaint about this place is the weird layout. Apparently the course was reconfigured several years ago when they lost a chunk of land and it shows. There are several places where they have you wandering all over the place to get from one hole to the next. Otherwise it's short but has a number of good holes.
Course Layout
No flow after the 6th onwards till the 15th hole
Awkward to get to the next hole
Good Course for Great Value Twilight
Great deal on twilight golf. Pace is very good, as most golfers are medium to good.
short and tricky
The course is short but has some challenging holes which will test your game. The greens were in great shape, the fairways not so much with alot of patchy areas. There are some wet spots where it looks like they may have some broken pipes. But the downside to this course is the layout. What is now the back nine (make sure to adjust your GPS) is just plain weird and the hike from #13 to #14 is ridiculous. You have to walk past parts of at least three other holes and signage is lacking throughout. I don't want to be too hard on the place. It's still worth a visit.
Fairway and green conditions are great.
The new management keeping this golf course in very good condition.
Pleasantly surprised
I hadn't played this course since the 90s. Used to be an average, muddy course. Now it's GREAT. Many improvements. Course in perfect shape. Restaurant could be better but all in all a great day of golf.
GREAT VALUE FOR SENIORS 55+
Interesting Par 68 course cut into a very small patch of land so tight everywhere. Many spots the fairways and tee blocks are near so keep your heads up when walking from green to tee. No near misses so not that bad.
Good mix of short and longer par 3's Par 4's and a couple par 5's.
Greens are in great shape, some holes play narrow if you fade the ball. Left off the tees lot of trees.
Not a lot of Bunkers but strategically placed to come into play.
They've reversed the 9's and changed the layout. Can be confusing.
GPS App isn't updated to their change so go old school for yardage or use a Rangefinder.
Thanks for the great info.
