Great conditions
Thoroughly enjoyed the course. Fairways and greens were in awesome shape. Greens were consistent and challenging. Pro shop staff were great. Will play again.
Nice track
Challenging layout and greens. Fairways a bit hard, greens a bit fuzzy, slow.
Perfect anniversary
My wife and I played on our way back home to Nanaimo (after celebrating our anniversary in Victoria0. We were running a little late, called to let the course know, and they said "No problem, we'll look after you when you arrive". When we arrived Norm at the Pro Shop was more than helpful and we had an excellent afternoon (as long as you don't count scores!). Great course and great staff. Out on the course beverage cart service was also excellent. I would highly recommend the course.
Cowichan golf
My brother, son and myself had a great day on the course. At 15 bucks a head you would be hard pressed to beat it. The course was in fantastic shape as the greens were punched a coulple of weeks ago but are superb now. Stormin' Norman and crew deserve a big thank you.
Best Customer Service and a great track
Highly recommended to anyone looking for good challenge and nice golf course. Customer service in pro shop is probably the best in industry and prices are very reasonable inside out.
Nice course but fairways and rough could be better
Enjoyed the round. Greens were in excellent condition, but the fairways were not cut as well as could be and the rough was too long for non pros. No 1st or 2nd cut rough
An easy walk, surrounded by scenic greenery.
I have always enjoyed playing here, great course, but this time the grass was quite long on the fairways and one par 3, was a complete mud hole. Unfortunately with all the rain this can be slightly expected but this was bad.
Great day on the course.
Green were in excellent shape. Fairways were soft but no balls plugged even in low areas.
Head professional
Although I enjoyed the course including layout and quality of the greens, it was Norm Jackson's energy, positivity and service that will keep me coming back.

Nice course, but very wet
This course is worth playing with a nice course layout.
I have played this course on a nice and sunny day, but it had rained a lot the previous week.
Therefore the course was very wet and due to that on some holes the fairway wasn't cut at all (no difference between fairway and rough) - which led to losing golf balls on the fairway...
Considering value for money it was still a good deal and worth playing.
staff goes a long way
the staff are always making you feel that they are there for you and try their best to make everything you expect come true. ty
Cowichan Fun and Friendly
Friendly staff. Let us go out early. Even workers out on the course were super friendly. Weather was fair but we had a great time. Super snack bar at the turn. Have played here before and will for sure come back again.
Beautiful day on the course.
It was a nice hot day and the ball was carrying well and getting some good bounce on the fairway for extra yards.I always find the staff to be very friendly at this course.
Fun to play here
The course is very fun to play. Green is challenge. Some up and down. You won't be dissapointed.
Pace of play too slow
It took over 2 1/2 hours to play the front nine. There was a 5-10 min wait on every tee box. We got to know the groups in front and behind us very well. I have played this course a number of times and occasionally there would be some waits but never as bad as yesterday. We were so frustrated after nine holes we ended up leaving.
Challenging but Fun
Cowichan just keeps coming at you with long par 4's and challenging par 3's. Greens are smallish and tricky.
The course is in great shape, and staff helpful and friendly. We've played this course in all the seasons, and right now, the course is great.
