Worth the Drive, Value, Conditions, Challenge

Had a great day playing Fort Langley golf course even though was drizzling for 16 holes, sun came out for 17/18. Offers a good selection of holes and shots Doglegs Left and Right. Straightway longer holes. Varying elevations, uphill, downhill. Few Blind shots so playing in with someone that has course knowledge is a plus. I would consider the slope rating low for the challenge. Tee Boxes, Fairways and Greens are in Good condition. Don't look for breaks, most aren't there. Moderate walk, not easy w/elevation/length. MUST HAVE BUG SPRAY!

Decent Course For the Money

The Fort Langley course is decent for a quick outting. We finished our round in under 4 hours so the pace of play was good. Just keep in mind that this course is very low frills with a lot of older members using walking carts. What I mean by that is that is that there is NO cart girl and the power carts available are pretty old and not to quick if you’re use to playing higher end courses. All in all, not a bad course for the money.

Perfect weather
course in good condition, as a visitor, we had to rent pull carts and the ladies power cars(expensive $36/for power cart) which added quite a bit to the cost of the hot deal Frank

bugs

The course was in very good shape but for the first time this year the infamous Fort Langley mosquito infestation was evident. If the weather is calm bring bug spray...lots of it.

A Little Slow On Back 9

Course was in pretty good condition considering it is the beginning of May. Greens were a little slow, and some boggy spots Golf carts a little stinky. We started off the front 9 at a very good pace. For some reason the back 9 bogged right down. Not sure if someone jumped in or what. Overall a pretty good round.
