Miona Lake Golf Club

We found that conditions have improved significantly since we played this course last winter. The greens were in very nice condition. The fairways still have a way to go. Although s few of the fairways are a bit close together, we find the course a nice challenge and the big oak trees are a pleasure on a hot day.

The Lake course has some of the best greens in the area,even though small they hold very well when hit. Excellent speed and roll

The contions of the course were quite bad, especially the fairways. But it was cheap.

Fairways in poor condition. Tee boxes fair.
greens good. Bunkers did not look as if they were taken care of in a while.

The greens are in excellent condition but very small.
The fairways have not done very well this winter. Very sparce of grass but lots of wee clumps.

A foursome with two players who have never played before slowing the pace for all concerned and not allowing faster players through.

The course needs more grass in fairways. Greens were small but in decent shape. Stopped playing at 13 hole when there were four groups on the twelve hole, soon to be five.

Miona Lake Golf course is excellent! The staff is wonderful and the course is in great condition. I recommend it to players of all levels.

The course is laid out where it is possible to hit other golfers from the tees. Very poor shape, greens beat up, fairway choppy and bunkers filled with old dirty sand

I don't believe this course has an irrigation system and the course is bad condition with bare ground everywhere. Greens are small. If you are looking for grass this is not the place. If you just want to practice than this course is reasonably priced for what you get.

Good Value, The carts need work!!! The staff is friendly!

Fairways can be narrow, greens in good condition/ fast, bunkers well placed but there are not a lot of them, sand is consistent from bunker to bunker, golf cart was clean and ran well.

Not really a long course in terms of distance but the greens were. The greens were fairly sparse with grass but what was present was long. Hard to putt. Think this is an overflow course for the Villages, pretty slow play. Unique layout...hitting over the entrance road and watching for traffic.

Decent course, & front nine much easier & shorter than back nine. Nice layout, fairly flat terrain & pace of play was very good.

The course has a nice layout. Narrow tree lined fairways and very tiny greens. Unfortunately, the conditions are poor. The winter rye did not take well and the fairways are sparse.
The greens seem to be getting a lot of play and appear beat up. Line the people and the layout but will give it a rest for a while and hope warmer weather will improve the conditions.

I like the layout for most of the holes. The condition of the course could be improved and would greatly enhance the experience.

1:00pm tee time w/ wife. Great Hot Deal price. Paired up w/ another couple who bought other 2 Hot Deal spots. Typical Florida tree lined course in subdivision setting. Very tight & challenging. Water in play rarely, I think 7 holes total. Some unique holes. Tee boxes in decent shape. Fairways are plush. Some areas in roughs, near some greens bare. Elevated medium sized greens roll true & are fairly quick. Course management & good club selection a premium on this course. Battery powered carts w/ windshield in front & rain cover back. Decent Pro shop that's pretty well stocked.

Like playing this curse greens are fast and small fairways in good shape greens are in good shape some tee boxes could have some work done

Drive em Strait..... Fairways tight. Lots of trees, and more trees...
