The back nine are scenic
This course has a nice variety of challenges. Many elevated greens and well placed bunkers. Not many water hazards but target golf is required
Golfnow or EaglePoint screwed me
Well I had a really bad experience with Golfnow and Eaglepoint. I changed the date on my booking because I had booked the wrong date by mistake 4th instead of 2nd. Tried to get money back and no go from Golfnow. Only a credit so I cancelled but then decided I'd better play because who knows when I'll use that credit and it will probably expire. So I got a hotel room and stayed an extra day. So I go today and check in and EaglePoint says that it's booked under another foursome. So I miss out on golf, it costs me an extra hotel room and they says it's my fault. A small apology but very small
As far as EaglePoint they said Golfnow does that all the time. They was no credit offered or we can fit you in
outstanding condition
Excellent layout in great condition. This course is underrated and a great value.
Excellent Time
Had an excellent time. Course well manicured as usual, fast greens.
Only downside, very, very slow pace. Painfully slow. So slow that we played the 1st nine twice. Would have loved to play the back nine but would have run out of daylight.
Probably due to very tight tee off times.
Perhaps a course Marshall would be helpful.
Oh well! Till next time.
Great course
Great course for any level of golfer. Staff very friendly.
Great again
Another great day at Eaglepoint. I used a cart today, because after walking yesterday, when it was near 30 degrees Celsius, I was exhausted! This is a hilly course, but it’s beautiful!
Beautiful Course and great shape!
We are here in Kamloops, self contained in our own 5th wheel trailer and golfing for 4 days. We have played The Dunes, Bighorn and Eagle point. All are in good shape, although the Dunes had some flooding, but by far, the best course for conditions is Eaglepoint! The fairways are immaculate, as are the greens. It’s so good, that we have decided to play their again today. We were going to go to Talking Rock, but our tee time was so late, and a thunderstorm is expected later today, so we decided to play Eaglepoint again.
great day of golf
The course was in great condition we had not played there for over ten years the course has recovered from the loss of all the trees very nicely and was very well maintained.I would recommend this course to anyone as it is a very beautiful course.
Eaglepoint was lush and green, potted flowers by the first tee, greens in good shape. Forgot the mosquito repellant,, paid dearly for that
Wheres the ice
Kamloops: warmer than most. Church not at it . ICE where is it ? Sorry wr dont have any .... how can you sell beer without ice??
Beautiful day
course is in fantastic shape! Highly recommended for locals or people passing through.
Awesome
Best value in Kamloops
great course great conditions awesome greens
Too slow
An otherwise perfect day for golf is ruined by other players who are NOT playing "ready golf". On a busy day, the course MUST have a Marshall to keep people moving forward at a better pace. That being said, all the groups I played through (6 of them) were VERY accommodating.
interesting course
Always in good shape and fun to play. greens are excellent
Beautiful day at Eaglepoint.
Challenging course, in great shape. Had a fantastic time.
Solid golf with a couple design hiccups
This course was already tough enough, so it's hard to imagine playing it with thousands of trees lining the fairways. The trees were lost to disease years ago, leaving a wide open, somewhat awkward feel to the whole place.
The design curveballs start on the first tee. Even a perfect tee shot down into the valley sets up an uphill blind shot with no way to tell where the flag is. Seems like an extra tall flagstick could solve this issue.
There are some nice views at various points throughout the round. I'm not a fan of the hardest hole on the course, the long par 4 sixth that forces you to layup in front of a pond for an awkward downhill/sidehill lie to an elevated green. The final hole, a twisting par 5 into a valley that slings hard right to an elevated green, seems to be a slow-play nightmare. At least it was for us.
If you can look past these minor annoyances, then you'll have a good day. The course is kept in prime shape and the staff very friendly.
